Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers! When my owner decided she didn’t want my housemate (and maybe sister), Amarie, and me any longer, she just plunked us outside to fend for ourselves. Fortunately, a kindly neighbor convinced her to sign the paperwork to relinquish us to TALGV or we’d have been two (pretty small) meals for some hungry coyote or owl by now! When you meet me, you’ll be doubly mystified by her decision because we’re both the sweetest (and chatty!) little things you’ll ever meet. I’m an enchanting Snowshoe Siamese girl, only about a year old, and I promise that if you take me home, your life will be filled with nothing but purrs, rubs, and grateful love.

Yeah, yeah—there was a time when I lived up to my name. You know: high energy, feisty, getting into stuff, nipping at folks. Oh, well, those days are past and I was much younger then. Now I am mostly laid back, enjoy long naps, good food and a few treats, plus a leisurely walk a couple of times a day. Oh, you know a thing or two about that, too? Then let’s meet real soon! You already have a doggie pal, you say? I had one, too, and we got along just fine. But she already found herself a new home. So how about it? Tyler and I were picked up on the Tohono O’Odham reservation by the tribal police. Since there was no reason to arrest us, we were brought to TALGV. We were checked out and found to be undernourished, but healthy. Then we started our new routine, with two daily walks. I’m not crazy about the collar and leash (I’m improving), or being confined to my kennel (probably never an “inside dog”), but I heard someone mention I’m making an effort to adapt to my surroundings. Tyler and I may have come in together, but now we need our separate spaces, and I need to focus more on social interaction with “humans.” I’d love a home (fenced space), with an experienced “dog person” who has the time and patience to help me become the dog I know I can be…YOUR dog!
