Jojo is a sweet and soft-natured 4-year-old, 65-pound Hound mix female who needs a new home.She is crate trained, leash trained, and obedience trained (knows “sit, ”stay,” “come” and “shake”). She is housebroken and asks to go out. She is in good health, spayed, up to date on shots and medical records are available. Jojo loves people and would be best with older children. She loves to relax and to snuggle but needs daily exercise or stimulation. She needs an only-dog household with a secure yard. There is no adoption fee for this special girl. I am one of five puppies who learned to love people when many of the volunteers here at TALGV came to visit us over the past weeks. Our Mom was trying to take care of us by herself outside, but we all like it much better here! Mom is a Border Collie mix and very pretty. Dad – well, I’m not really sure, and Mom’s not telling. I think he was bigger than she is because everyone says I look like I will outgrow Mom for sure. Like all puppies my age, I like to play, explore my world with eyes, ears, and mouth, and take naps. Are you ready to teach me how to be a good dog like my Mom? Then let’s meet!

June Bug

My brother Cricket and I were taken in by a nice neighbor after our people passed away. There they had lots of animals and said we both got along well with them. They said I was good with their children of various ages and liked to play with them. I know that I need to learn a few things yet, like coming when called and to sit and stay and that kind of stuff. I walk pretty well on a leash, but I’ve been told there’s some room for improvement. I am a big cuddle bug and, yes, I know, big is the operative word here! If you don’t mind a lovable lab/heeler mix snuggling in next to you on the couch, I’m your girl!
