Hi… my name is Happy,

Adopted 10-12-20

I am a happy-go-lucky Jack Russell Terrier and Poodle mix. I get my smarts from the Poodle side and the happy wanderer from the Jack Russells! I like to explore and meet new people and other animals. There is always a new adventure to be found around the corner, you know? Cars are cool, too. You can go lots of different places and get there fast. When you get out, everything smells different. I like that! I still need to learn a few things, I am told. My foster mom is teaching me sit and stay and to walk better on the leash when we are out together. She also says I need to calm down some, but I think I am really trying!

Hi… my name is Harper (aka Tyson),

Adopted 12-18-20

I am an eight-pound Chihuahua with a beautiful chocolate and white coat and big ears! Someone said I should be able to listen well with those huge lobes of mine, and, don’t get me wrong, I hear just fine, but I do have a mind of own, you know? Like many of my breed, I can be sweet and loving and I do enjoy sitting on a lap for a spell. At other times, I just want to be left alone. Kids make me a bit nervous, and so do thunderstorms. But I like car rides and going on walks. I’ve learned stop, sit, and stay, and I can learn more. Although I’m only two years old, I’ve been around a bit and would like to meet someone who can be patient with me.

Hi… my name is Benjia,

Adopted 1-1-21

For five years I lived with my family, until they moved and couldn’t take me with them. Then, my whole outlook on life changed. I’m still a sweet, affectionate girl but I have a few issues to address. I would prefer a home without any steps and no contact with other dogs. As for walks, I WON’T GO; DON’T ASK ME! That should cover it. Finally, I’ll tell you the good points. I enjoy being in my crate and “you don’t need to walk me.” I love people and I have a beautiful face with expressive eyes. When you look deep into them you may see some sorrow but above all you can see the love. That love can all be yours. Please, just make that call and I’ll be waiting for YOU.

Hi… my name is Soco,

Adopted with Scotch 9-25-20

When a new family member joined our house and nasty allergies popped up, my brother, Scotch (why they didn’t name me “Soda” I’ll never know!), and I had to move on. Given that we’re outgoing guys, It shouldn’t be hard for us to adapt to a new home though, as we lived with a baby and a dog (the dog was okay until he chased us, then he was canis non grata!), and mom said that I’m super friendly, love to chase laser lights and toys, lie near humans, and like treats (not too many though!). It’s a well-known fact that two cats double your fun, so if you’re up for it, let’s get started!

Zia

Hi… my name is Zia,

Adopted with Mindy 9-20-20

Prepare to be gobsmacked! Not to toot my own horn, but “they” say that I’m one absolutely heart-stealing looker of a guy and have a personality to match. Women like to have a “little black dress” to complete their wardrobes, so I’m here to suggest that having a “not-so-little white cat” to match might be just the thing to complete the look! My sister, Mindy (no slouch in the looks department herself), my friend Zole, and I lost our mom recently, so we’re all in need of re-homing. I was super affectionate with mom, so I need to have someone who wants to shower me with attention in return for love that’ll last a lifetime.

Hi… my name is Southland,

Adopted 9-19-20

I am a young Rottie/Heeler girl of medium size. When you first meet me, I act a bit shy, but give me a few minutes and you will see the gentle, loving side of me. Just look at my eyes! I have been around small children and they say I was good with them and also that I behaved well when I was left alone in the yard. I still need to learn a few things, like how to tell you when I need to go potty and how to walk better on a leash. I would really like to go home with someone who can help me become more confident and show me that I don’t need to be afraid of strangers. If that is you, will you come to meet me soon?
