I’m a mellow, affectionate, fun-loving guy who needs to lose a few pounds (who doesn’t?). Let’s go for long walks so we can both get in shape. I’m a strong boy, so I’ll need someone who can handle me. I’m house trained, leash trained, and know how to sit. I think pools are really fun especially with my toys. I don’t know if I like cats, but I like to play with other big dogs. On a recent outing, I found out I’m not allowed to drive, but I’m just as happy being a passenger. When I arrived in 2015, I was the original “scaredy-cat” but now I get along with pretty much everyone. A lovely couple adopted me a few months ago, but I really botched that up by occasionally behaving badly, so I’ve learned my lesson and I’ll make every effort to be the epitome of perfectness in the future! Mom wrote some great things about me (“wonderful companion, intelligent, great antics, affectionate, proud, respectful” are some that come to mind and there are even more!), so if I’m granted another chance to prove myself, I cross-my-heart promise to thank you many times over. Oh, BTW, at 11, I have Vet Care Support for life, so there’s that too!

When my family sold their home, they couldn’t find a rental that would take a multitude of cats (and birds, reptiles, and a dog!), so no surprise, here I am, checking things out and posting a “personal” ad for my next human or two or three (I get along great with everyone/thing!). My dad said, “He’s a quiet, laid-back, lazy, loving cat and we’ll miss him greatly.” He said I didn’t have any bad habits (OK, scratching the carpet maybe, but, hey, get me a scratching post or cat tree!) and was a great companion. I’m also quite the looker with my ticked tabby coat, so make both our summers better and take me home!

Hey, y’all. Watching my roommates go to loving homes and being left behind is getting really old really fast! I had a bout of ringworm and had to be isolated until it cleared up, so I didn’t get a lot of wonderful hands-on people time then. Now that I’m good as new, I’m still living in just one room ‘cause I’m at that “betwixt and between” age where I’m too big to mingle with the little guys and too young for the adult cats. But I love visitors, so I’m imploring some wonderful person to give me a home where I can have a WHOLE HOUSE to myself and be the loving companion I’ve always meant to be!
