Hi… my name is Stretch,

Adopted 2-13-20

Is there anything that isn’t fascinating and worthy of exploration for a teenager (feline or human)? Well, I haven’t found it! My rescuer, who lost his home, said that I’m a very loving lap cat (until I’m off on other adventures!), am an excellent climber and acrobat, like to explore the house at night (something I’ll probably outgrow “one of these days”!), and just adored his dog. Being picked up isn’t my favorite thing, but I have so many other delightful qualities, that you won’t even care (and maybe some day …). I’ll bet anything having a guy like me in your life would perk it up no end, so c’mon, let’s get together!

Hi… my name is Millie,

Adopted 2-20-20

Hello world! I’m so thankful that a kind man picked me up on La Canada and brought me to TALGV. I knew immediately that whatever happened to me, I wouldn’t be alone. Now I have a foster Mom who takes care of me, and she said my house-training is a work in progress. She is pleased to say that I sleep all night in my crate. I’m a happy, 4-month-old, Doberman/Lab mix girl that loves everyone I meet. I also get along with other dogs and cats. An early education of basic obedience commands and leash training will enable me to grow into a well-behaved member of your family. It is said the eyes are the windows to the soul. Mine are green! Please peek in and maybe you’ll see that our souls connect.

Hi… my name is Cleo,

Adopted 2-12-20

A lovely person found me wandering and, bless her, she stopped for me. However, she was moving and couldn’t keep me forever. I’m a lovely, medium-sized tri-colored husky/shepherd mix girl. TALGV volunteers describe me as sweet and beautiful and maybe you will agree? I walk easily on a leash, and I’ve even found cats to be pretty cool, especially when they stay to be friends with me. I’m a little shy at first but do warm up quickly. People here are super nice, but I would really rather have a special person or family that I could grow comfortable with and who will let me share with them all the good times ahead. I already have good manners, so isn’t that a great start? And, as they say, I’m oh so sweet. I hope you will agree.

Hi… my name is Murray,

Adopted 4-10-20

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

Okay, sometimes cats (and people) can get grumpy as they age! Apparently that’s what I did with my housemate of nine years, so since he was 20 (now THERE’S a feline age to aspire to!), my mom felt that he shouldn’t have to cope with my (occasional) snits. I’m a super handsome 12-year-old declawed gentleman (with Vet Care Support for Life), and although independent, I do like the old ear/head/chin rubs like most cats. Since I’ve got long hair, I’ll need attention to my grooming to keep the hairballs at bay, but that’ll just help us spend more time together! How about just you and me (and no other pets) spending our lives together?

Hi… my name is Buddy,

Adopted 2-5-20

Maybe I’m not a lap-sitter, but if you’d like an interactive pal, here’s part of what my rescuer said: “Buddy is inquisitive, friendly, and playful. He’s a climber and likes to perch on top of his cat tree. He chases anything that moves. When he wants to play, he’ll begin meowing while holding a favorite toy in his mouth, and that’s your clue to begin chasing him through the house. Once he drops the toy, it’s your turn, and the game begins again. He really needs a playmate (human or feline) so if you’re a sit-in-the-chair-and-read kind of person, look elsewhere!” I’m only an 18-month-old, so plan on getting your exercise for quite a while!

Hi… my name is Wrangler,

Adopted 4-18-20

What better to call a guy who was found in the Wrangler Ranch area of Sahuarita? Well, you can call me anything you like (although I’d suggest Mr. Wonderful), as long as you take me home! Cats always gaze longingly out windows dreaming of that “grass is greener” side of the street, but take it from me, being out there and fending for yourself isn’t all it’s cracked up to be (and it’s not all that green in the desert anyway)! I’m finding that doubly true ‘cause I’m loving all the attention and petting I’m getting here (not to mention the reliable food), so why not give me a whole new slant on indoor life?
