This little ewok is as smart as she is cute. Despite being the smallest of her litter, Helena always finds new ways to keep up with her sisters and brother. Whether it’s knocking over mama’s food dish to sneak a snack or sleeping under the water dish stand to avoid being woken up by her siblings, she is constantly coming up with adorable new ways to learn about the world around her.

Here’s my story: “Murphy belonged to a friend in Phoenix who died and I drove up to rescue her. She’s very vocal and smart – she opens cabinets by herself even though she’s declawed. She has always been shy, but is a sweet girl and when she gets to know you, she’ll come out for petting. It breaks my heart to leave her, but I’m moving in with my daughter, and she has too many dogs and cats, and I don’t think she’d do well.” I can’t add much more than this: I’m 17 years young, I have vet care support for life, and I sure would like to share my life’s experiences with you!

If you are familiar with español, you may know that my name means sprinkle or spark. I am an exceptionally beautiful, calm and mellow shepherd mix female of only 8 months. Even though my family decided it was best to part ways, they reported that I am gentle with children from 3 to 14. They also said I got along with two other dogs in my former home. Although I can be slow to warm up to strangers, if given enough time and attention, I do start showing my loving side. You would probably guess that I do enjoy treats; they motivate me to quickly learn proper manners. Come by and visit so I can show you a “chispita” of puppy-style love.
