Hi… my name is Bandit (aka Bucky),

Adopted 5-17-19

Note: Bio needs revision

I was found running loose, one of the smallest strays you might find, and I was very shy, too. A few days went by before I let my rescuer take me in, and I was pretty skinny by then. But things have gotten better ever since. I’ve put on a little weight (12.4 pounds today), become more comfortable with people, and even rediscovered how to have fun! I love playing with my toys, especially balls, and taking long walks. When tired after all that fun, I’m a great cuddler. And you know what? We could meet real soon. Please remember I might be shy, but if a little guy like me could be a good fit in your life, I think we could make each other happy every day.

Hi… my name is Wilder,

Adopted with Bobby 3-25-21

It’s been two years since my brother, Bobby, and I arrived and given the upheaval in our lives, we’ve made a lot of progress (well, he’s made more than me, but they’re working on it!). When our mom died, a shelter took us in, but when they became a “dog only” shelter, we were left without homes. Once we were happy, well-adjusted kids, but so much changed that we’ve done some “backsliding” personality-wise. Because we’re bonded, everyone agrees that we’d adapt to a new home much better together, so we’re crossing tails hoping to find a patient, understanding cat person who’ll let us learn to enjoy a new life with you in our own time.  (bio rev 2-26-21)

Hi… my name is Tara,

Adopted 5-17-20

My siblings, Wilder and Bobby, and I are what you call “works in progress.” Our human mom died a while ago, and a rescue organization took us in (along with 25 other cats!), but when they decided to become a “dog only” shelter, we were left without homes. Once upon a time, we were happy and well-adjusted critters, but since so much has happened in our lives, we’ve retreated into our shells and are having a tough time adjusting. The volunteers are spending a lot of time socializing us, so keep checking back to see how we’re faring––we bet you’re really going to be surprised one of these days!

Adopted with Buddy 5-23-10

CHIP and Buddy are sweet and social bonded 5-year-old small male terrier mixes that need a new quieter home as current home of 4 young children is extremely active and they don’t receive much attention. They are housebroken, leash and crate trained. They are housebroken and ask to go out. They are okay with other small dogs and children; cats are unknown. They are neutered, shots are up to date and medical records are available. Buddy and Chip are friendly, come when called, and will sit on command. There is no adoption fee for these cute boys. If you will welcome Buddy and Chip into a loving home as part of your family, please call Andrea between 10 AM and 8 PM at 520-307-9481.

Hi… my name is Kucing (aka Nutmeg),

Adopted with Tuaca 8-18-19

It’s kind of depressing when one of your people isn’t enormously fond of you, but that’s what happened for me (and my friend, Tuaca). After my beloved dad died, mom quickly brought us here because she simply wasn’t a “cat person” and no longer wanted to care for us. Well, I’m betting there are LOTS of cat people in the area who’d love to care for a sweet, diminutive, 8-year-old gal like me. (I’m on a special diet, so that’s the only “extra care” I need!). I’m tossing my hat in the adoption ring in hopes that you’ll fall really hard, and that won’t happen unless you come meet me, so get a move on!

Hi… my name is Richie,

Adopted with Joanie 8-16-19

I was found with my best dog friend, Joanie, and you could say we just appeared out of the blue. We were strays—I had no ID, no microchip—and we were hungry. Each of us was too thin, dirty, and in need of human kindness, which we have received in abundance here (along with an extra meal every day for a while). Today, I’m happy, feeling good, and looking Boxer-handsome. And all along—from the very first day—I’ve been an exceptionally sweet guy. Whether it’s with Joanie or with people, I’m loyal and loving; a dog who likes to give and get affection. And if you enjoy fun at playtime, we have that in common! So let’s meet—you, Joanie and me—and see if there’s a happily-ever-after for all of us together!
