You could say I’m part-shy, part-friendliest dog ever! Once I feel confident with someone—friendly dogs or people—I just love the company. After my two brothers were adopted (our owner had to let us go due to her health issues), I went home with my foster family. That’s been great because I got to play with the two dogs there (fairly big dogs) and became very affectionate toward Foster Mom. (It’s taking a little longer to get comfortable with Foster Dad.) She reported important people-pleasing things about me, saying I’m housetrained, crate-trained, rarely bark and easy to walk. Born in February 2018, I’m happiest when playing or giving and getting affection. If all this sounds good to you, could we meet? I’d love to add my sweet, lively self to your active, happy life!

Whew! Did I ever dodge a bullet! A wonderful woman rescued me from a “kill” shelter just a day before my time was up because she KNEW with my personality, unusual looks (not too many all-white cats out there), and loving, playful ways, I’d make anyone a wonderful companion. Thank heavens there are people out there like that! She said I liked to sleep (and purr!) next to her, have a soft Siamese voice that tells you I’m happy, am very “respectful” with a mellow temperament, am great with other cats, and love hanging out and cuddling on the couch. With all those attributes, you know you can’t go wrong, so get ready to fall in love!

My brother, James, and I lived with lots of other cats, dogs, and toddlers all our lives, but our home finally got just too “pet crowded,” and since we were the most outgoing of the tribe, our family decided it would be easier for us to steal hearts and find new homes. Dad said, “Amera is a talker, likes to be on tables and counters, loves attention, belly rubs, and is always purring. She likes people from babies to adults, will climb onto purses and lie down on books, paper bags, and boxes anywhere you leave them, and deals with ‘toddler abuse’ well.” So many things I do well – can I do them for you (maybe even with James)?
