Hi… my name is Billy Bob,

Adopted 1-7-19

Comes with Free Vet Care for Life.

You know instant coffee. You know instant soup. Well, meet instant purr! Nothing in the world makes me happier than cuddling, petting, and nestling next to you. OK, that and food – my foster mom said, “Don’t serve dinner late or he’ll speak his mind!” She also said that I’m a real attention lover who adores any toy I can knock around – for a 15-year-old (with free vet care) I’m a mighty sprightly gentleman! Before my mom died, I lived with other cats, dogs, and, although I’ve never been around them, I’m so mellow, I’d probably be fine with gentle kids, too, so pop a red bow on me and I’m the perfect gift for the season!

Hi… my name is Winston,

Adopted 12-31-18

Comes with Free Vet Care for Life.

Who knew how delightful a squeak could be? Well, when you come meet me, you’ll find out, ‘cause I’ve got the tiniest, most plaintive meow in the world and it’ll charm your socks off! That, my personality, and my half-moustache countenance of course! I lived with my mom and a few other cats (with whom I wasn’t on the best of terms) for five years, but when she couldn’t care for me any longer I came here so I could move on to the next phase of my life. At 12, I have free vet care so all I need from you are three “L’s”: a lap, love, and luxury and I’ll be in seventh heaven!

Hi… my name is Olivia,

Adopted 6-21-20

You know everyone needs dental work periodically, even cats and dogs! I thought that was something owners committed to when they adopted pets, but sadly mine didn’t, so when I came to TALGV eighteen months ago, they took care of all that for me. I’ve been really unhappy here as I’ve always been an only feline (the dog was OK), and I’m still having trouble adjusting (no problem with eating though!). I’m a beautiful tuxedo lady with a charming hourglass “tattoo” on my nose and silky fur to go along with it, and half past ready to find a new home where I’ll be cherished for the love I know is hiding inside me.

Hi… my name is Vinnie,

Adopted 4-24-19

I’ve come to believe that sometimes even the broken road takes you where you need to go. I was adopted but then my person went back to school, then someone moved and someone else took me, but I didn’t get along with her dogs (I arrived with some minor wounds from that), and so I’m here. Yes, all this has made me a little shy and wary, but you probably know what I’m hoping for—that someone will see my potential. Someone will know that what I need is a little guidance, some kindness, and lots of love. I’m a strong guy (so you should be, too), who’s eager to learn how to trust again and how to please, and my greatest strength is my heart. Will you let me give it to you?

Hi… my name is Cody,

Adopted to Humane Society 2-7-19

Although I’m pretty good at observing my surroundings, somehow I became lost. A kind man took me in, but after about six weeks, his dog and I no longer got along and that’s when I came here—a Lab mix male, probably born around June 2016, chocolate and white with amber eyes that are watching to see if you might like me. My finder said I was housetrained, and knew commands like “sit” and “kennel.” I’ve probably not had any experience with children, but I do like to play fetch, ball, and find it. And, of course, what I want to find most is a home—that place where we watch out for each other, have fun and take life’s happy trails together. May we please meet soon? I think we’d make a great match!

Hi… my name is Jeannie,

Adopted 12-5-18

Before coming here, I was one of fifteen dogs all living together in the same place! Different breeds, genders, ages—mainly small to medium small—and we all got along. Still do! We’re a sweet, loving bunch. But when our people moved and couldn’t take everyone with them, most of us came here—some of us shy, others very friendly, and each one hoping for the same thing: A new, comfy, loving home. We’re already experiencing new things; leashes and doggie doors were unknown to us, and we’ve not been around small children. I’m a 6-year-old Terrier mix female, black with touches of brown and white, 18 pounds, and although I like friendly people, I can be shy sometimes. Is that okay with you? I hope so, because I really need someone to love.
