Hi… my name is Bingo,

Adopted 7-7-25

My siblings and I were found alone in the desert when we were seven weeks old. We were brought to TALGV, where the volunteers fed us, loved us, and took care of us. In return, we have given them so many puppy kisses that they can’t help but go home happy. It’s time for a permanent home, though, and they want me to tell you what a special puppy I am. I am a sweetie who will probably be a medium-sized adult. I already know how to sit, and I’m learning to walk well on a leash. I have met kitties here (scary!), other dogs (fun!), and so many people (and loved them all). My card is almost full—I just need a new home with loving people to be able to say “Bingo!”

Hi… my name is Waffles,

Adopted 8-21-25

After mom passed away, we four cats were too much for dad to care for. We all came to The Animal League hoping for a new beginning. I’m pretty resigned to my new situation, and I found a comfy spot under a cat tree to pass the time. With my size no one is likely to mess with me! The volunteers come around to pet me and I like their attention. I’m a big boy with a handsome orange and white coat. I’m looking to start the next chapter in my life with someone easy-going. If that’s you, don’t delay!

Hi… my name is Panchi,

When the folks decided they had too many pets, three of us cats came to The Animal League. We’re all taking time to adjust to our new digs and it’s been a little rough. I spend my time in a wall cubby, sometimes with one of my buddies. I haven’t yet gotten used to humans trying to touch me. I’m a young boy with a tabby coat with patches of white.  What would suit me best is a quiet home with a patient owner who could help me feel safe and let my better nature come out. Could you give me a chance?

Hi… my name is Lucky,

Adopted 7-21-25

My name says it all! I was fortunate to have been found on the streets by a nice person who brought me here to The Animal League, where I’m safe. I can’t say anything about my past, but someone taught me good habits. You can pick me up and love on me to your heart’s content. I love sweet talk, belly rubs and laps. I like brushing, which is good for my longer hair. My coat is mostly white, with splotches of grey and black. Come on over and make my acquaintance. I’m ready for a companion to love, and love me.

Hi… my name is Jess,

Adopted 8-8-25

All the way from Marana, AZ, I came along with my feline buddy Jax. When allergies flared up in the daughter of our human family, it was decided that we should come to The Animal League. I’m a handsome gray guy with a white bib under my chin and four white paws. Somewhat independent, I walk about the room and then approach the volunteer who holds out a brush. I like being brushed! I meow my pleasure and saunter away. I have checked out as one healthy cat. I’m biding my time until I have my new home. Are you interested in meeting me? I’m here waiting for your attention, so please stop by.

Hi… my name is Checkers,

Adopted 6-22-25

Are you looking for a big ball of fluff? That’s me! I have luscious long hair and I enjoy being brushed to keep it looking good. I had a nice life with mom but she is gone now, so I need a new home. I’m very gentle, but haven’t been around kids or dogs so I don’t know about that. What I do know is that I am ready to be your furry companion right away.  You can find me holding court in my room, waiting for the right person to come through the door. I’m the handsome mass of white and black!

Hi… my name is Delilah,

I’m Delilah, a gentle, affectionate girl who’s ready for a fresh start. I love exploring the world and make a wonderful walking or hiking companion, especially on crisp mornings. I’ve met a few other shelter canine residents through calm, guided introductions and did quite well. When I see other dogs on walks, I can get excited, and with continued training I’m learning to focus on my handler and take reassurance from my person. I know several commands, including sit, down, and place, and I’m fully house and potty trained. I’m a happy, wiggly soul, so a home without young children would be best—I sometimes forget my size when I’m feeling joyful. I thrive with kind guidance, routine, and love, and I’d be so grateful for a home to help me shine.  (1-26)

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Petey (aka Mr. Oreo),

Adopted 6-26-25

Did you know that the word Papillon is French for “butterfly”? That’s where my breed gets its name, and you can see it perfectly embodied in my gorgeous butterfly-shaped ears AND the fact that I’m quite the social butterfly once I get to know you. I’m a handsome, alert, intelligent guy with a plumed tail, silky coat, and a zest for life. I love knowing what is going on around me, and I love to be at your feet or in your lap to make sure I’m privy to the latest gossip. I walk well on a leash and arrived at TALGV with a Chihuahua buddy, so I am probably okay with other dogs. If you’re interested in a gorgeous boy who also loves to dish the latest news, I’m waiting for you.
