Hi… my name is Ezmaee,

Adopted 2-5-18

People pleasing is number one on my to-do list, so when someone asks me to “sit up pretty,” I’m glad to do it. My friends here say it’s my trademark because I’m pretty inside and out—a red and white Border Collie mix female, 67 pounds and 6-1/2 years old, who’s a delightful companion for going on walks, running, playing, and cuddling. After my former person suffered a significant knee injury, she couldn’t walk or run with me anymore, and wanted me to have the chance to be with someone who could—someone who’ll relish my energy and joy of living. She called me “extremely loveable,” gentle and tolerant with the 16-year-old at her house, and trained to “sit” and “stay” too. I’d love the chance to make you happy. Will you let me try?

Hi… my name is Baby,

Adopted 2-1-18

My person has gone into hospice care, so I’m very glad to have been a comfort to her these past months. But when the time came to say goodbye, well, I don’t pretend to understand that, and when I came here, I was scared and even trembling a little. Then things got better. I started to relax, let more of the real me shine through, and soon people were bragging about what a great companion I’ll be—a happy dog who’s fun-loving, good at playing ball, and appreciates people in my own sweet, loving way. I do have things to learn and I’m willing! I’m a beautiful brindle and white 3-year-old Boxer mix female, eager to enjoy a carefree, happy-together future with someone to love for a good long time. Could that be you?

Lea

Hi… my name is Lea,

Adopted 3-17-18

My finder said that one day I just walked into their yard. We don’t know how I came to be lost, but I was lucky to have walked into that yard because those kind people brought me here. (I might have stayed longer with them, but I was way too interested in their cat.) I’m a young Staffie/Boxer mix female, and at 43 pounds I’m small for my breed, but mighty; that is, kind of strong and mighty cute, thanks especially to my beautiful gray and white markings and adorable ears. My finder said I was quite comfortable in a crate, which can be helpful, and very people friendly. I’m sure you’re dog friendly, so we could be a perfect match—for happiness, for love and for laughter. I’d love to be yours forever.

Hi… my name is Clyde,

Adopted with Bonnie 2-27-18

There may be a fascinating tale about how Bonnie and I ended up on the side of the road (Duval Mine Road), but our headline news is that we were rescued! I’m a 1-year-old Husky/Heeler mix male, black and white, with 1 blue eye and one brown, and you’ll quickly notice that I’m a three-legged dog. How that came to be we don’t know; maybe that’s how I was born. In any event, I get along fine in my own way, and I’m a happy, friendly guy, who’s grateful for Bonnie. She cared for me when I had no one else in the world, and we’d love to stay together. We know it will take someone special to adopt us both, but it could happen. Indeed, someone that wonderful could be as close as you!

Hi… my name is Bonnie,

Adopted with Clyde 2-27-18

There may be a fascinating tale about how Clyde and I ended up on the side of the road (Duval Mine Road, to be specific), but our headline news is that we were rescued! I’m an 18-month-old Husky female, tricolored (silver, tan and white) with gorgeous blue eyes, and although just 60 pounds, I’m a strong dog. To quote my intake exam, I’m “very strong but sweet natured.” I like to think that’s my charming balance—strong and sweet. Volunteers say I’m friendly and loveable, too, and Clyde agrees. We’re great together and he relies on me (perhaps especially because he’s a three-legged dog), so we’d love to stay together. We know it will take someone special to adopt us both, but it could happen. Indeed, someone that wonderful could be as close as you!

Hi… my name is Moonie,

Adopted 1-19-18

Drat! I only got to live with the family that adopted me for two months before an allergy reared its ugly head! Why is it that that doesn’t happen with dogs very often? Well, I’m back, and as you might guess since I’m only 7 months old now, my people said I’m super playful, sweet and gentle, and a “very beautiful” cat. I got along swimmingly with the kids and dogs in the house, so I’m proud to say that I’m a well-rounded guy who’s sure be at the top your list of “best pets I’ve ever had!” Come meet me and find out!

Hi… my name is Bryce,

Adopted 1-15-18

“Found him wandering around the houses, talked to neighbors who said he’s always looking for shelter and food.” That’s not much to go on, but it’s all I’ve got history-wise, so it’d be a lot easier for you to meet me and see what a find I’m going to be! I wasn’t neutered when I arrived (you can bet I am now!), so who knows how long I’ve been without a home and begging food from the good people in Sahuarita? Suffice it to say, I’m happy to put those worries behind me, and am looking forward to a real place of my own where my people will cherish me for the delightful guy I am. I’m betting this 1-year-old would brighten up your world by megawatts!
