Mo

Hi… my name is Mo,

Adopted 12-26-16

From my perspective, it’s a really big world out there, so I’m sure you appreciate why I’m a little cautious. People often call that “shy,” but maybe you’ll agree that since I’m just 9+ pounds, it’s wise to be watchful. Of course, being little is part of being a Chihuahua, and I’m good with that! It’s fun being the size that people can easily cuddle and play with, and I’m meeting lots of those people. The woman who brought my brother and me here had offered to help us find a good home and she knew that would happen at TALGV. Maybe it will be soon! I’m just 4 months old and I’m trying to be as adorable as possible, hoping that someone kind and loving like you will want to take me home.

Hi… my name is Marley,

Adopted with Bailey 1-8-17

Can you picture my sister Bailey and me as puppies, running the streets? That’s where we were found about 1-1/2 years ago. Now our rescuer is moving and cannot take us along, so today we’re 3-year-olds, still together and looking for home. Although Bailey’s a little braver, we’re both shy at first, but once we warm up—well, to quote our former person, “They’re very friendly, loving, and well behaved.” She also said we love kids, are good with cats, leash trained, and know “sit,” “stay,” and “no.” We’re females, each about 50 pounds; I’m the tan and white one, especially good at cuddling, and Bailey is playful and happy. We’re devoted sisters who want to stay together, and will bring love and happiness with us. How about we give all that to you?

Hi… my name is Steve,

Adopted 12-31-16

After my mom rescued a whole passel of cats over the years, she decided that she had finally reached her limit – especially since she had too many males vying for dominance. She said that with her though, I was a “lover” who hated to be separated from her (“he will paw at doors to be with you”), so you know if it’s just the two of us, life will be grand. I’m a big, approximately 4-year-old, Maine Coon mix who has one other rather unusual trait for a cat: I love being vacuumed! Just think how easy grooming will be for you! As a guy who has been transformed from a wayfaring stranger to a real homebody, you can bet that our time together will be a joy for us both!

Hi… my name is Paris,

Adopted 2-12-18

Paris comes with FREE Vet Care for Life.

You could say I’m the best of both worlds: mature in years, but young at heart. My former person left me behind at a friend’s house and although we don’t know why that happened, the experience gave me the chance to show some of my good qualities. For instance, I loved the kids there (ages 9, 12, and 14) and tolerated the cats. The Dachshund and I didn’t see eye-to-eye though, so as last in, I was first out. But that’s okay. I’ve made lots of friends here and cherished every cuddle we’ve shared. I’m a female Lab/Staffie mix who walks well on a leash, is friendly, eager to please, and 11 years old, which means I come with FREE Vet Care for Life! Won’t you let me give my happy heart to you?

Hi… my name is Jackson,

Adopted 1-7-17

There aren’t enough animal shelters in the world to go around for needy animals, and when one closes, it just makes things harder for everyone. Fortunately, TALGV is able to take some of us in when they have space, so I’m happy to report that several of my compatriots and I are now safe and looking for that elusive “forever” home. The wonderful lady who brought me here said, “Jackson came to us full grown after someone moved and dumped him. He has a great, personable disposition and is a real lover. He lived outside in the front entry so would love to have some extra TLC.” Well, I’m here to second that motion and tell you I’ll be eternally grateful if you’ll do that for me!

He lived outside in the front entry so would love to have some extra TLC.” Well, I’m here to second that motion and tell you I’ll be eternally grateful if you’ll do that for me!

Hi… my name is Tess,

Adopted 1-6-17

There aren’t enough animal shelters in the world to go around for needy animals, and when one closes, it just makes things harder for everyone. Fortunately, TALGV is able to take some of us in when they have space, so I’m happy to report that several of my compatriots and I are now safe and looking for that elusive “forever” home. The wonderful lady who brought me here said, “Tess was left on our doorstep when she was 7 weeks old. She lived inside, but stayed to herself because the other cats intimidated her. She had a bed by the window and loved to watch the world go by. She is a gentle kitty who could use some extra TLC.” Well, I’m here to second that motion – how about just you and me?
