I’m here at TALGV with Abigail, my canine BFF, because our person wants the best for us. Due to health issues, she no longer can give us the care and active lifestyle she wants us to enjoy, so we need a new home where love and fun abound. I’m a 4-year-old tan and white female, about 70 pounds, and—per my DNA test—mainly Weimaraner and Manchester Terrier. I’m leash trained, have good house manners, and know “sit,” “down,” and “come.” That’s important stuff, but you should also know that I’m affectionate, sweet and playful, love stuffed squeaky toys, and I also love Abigail. We want to stay together. So if you can love us both, we’ll double our efforts to make sure you’re happy being loved every day by your grateful doggie duo!

She is okay with other dogs, but cats and children are unknown. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. Medical records are available. She is housebroken and asks to go out. April is very affectionate, loves to walk, and usually sleeps with owner. She needs to be in a home with someone who has time to dote on her. There is no adoption fee. MARKIE is a 3-year old male, Chihuahua/corgi mix. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He will do best with a little lady dog or even better, as the only dog – Top Dog as he likes to think of it. Markie is a love bug and enjoys being spoken to, sitting on a lap or up against you. He chases a cat that runs from him but ignores another one. Markie walks well on a leash and is well behaved when you pick him up to run in a store or stop at a stand, etc. He isn’t into other dogs; he pretty much ignores them. He loves his person and those times when you can’t take him with you, he will be watching out from the window for your return. There is no adoption fee.

When I arrived at TALGV, someone started singing, “Hey there lonely girl…” They saw that I’d been lost, lonely, very scared, and in need of a friend. Weeks later, I was thrilled to be adopted. But then my owner began traveling extensively and I was returned to TALGV, where my friends welcomed me back. They’re ready to help me find a new home, hoping this time it’s the forever kind! I’m an active, playful female who enjoys car rides, toys, and quiet times, too—your gentle touch means so much. I’m young and slender, about 17 months and 40 pounds, white with brown markings, resembling a Canaan Dog and probably a Pointer mix. Best of all, I’ll be a devoted companion to the person I can love and trust, and I’m hoping that’s you.

ROXY is a beautiful, social, and sweet 9-month-old, 25-pound Heeler who needs a new home. She was born to a rescued mom, but her family can no longer care for her. She gets along with other dogs, children, and some cats. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. Medical records are available. Roxy is a very happy, social dog that loves people. She likes to play fetch and soccer with her toys and loves to go on walks. She is kennel and house trained and asks to go out. Roxy has been to puppy training class and knows commands: sit, stay, leave it, and lay down.
