Hi… my name is Dino,

FOUND – PLEASE CALL TALGV OFFICE FOR INFORMATION

I may be a young pup, but I already know some of the basic commands. I know how to sit, wait, heel, and it’s also been reported that I understand the “off” command. I tend to get excited and somewhat rambunctious when people come to visit, but if you’re willing to be patient and spend time working with me, it shouldn’t take long for me to settle down. I also believe I’m quite intelligent and I’ll make a good student and an excellent addition to your family. I should also mention I’m soft and cuddly! I haven’t been at TALGV for long, but I can see there’s training around the corner. By now I guess you’ve already seen my photo (handsome, aren’t I?), but to actually get to know ME, please schedule an appointment.

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Juneau,

Adopted 3-27-21

Nothing makes me happier than a job that involves plenty of active exercise. I’m a one-year-old male Husky, and I’m from a long line of “working” dogs. From what I hear through the grapevine, I’m a handsome, sweet boy with eyes you just “have” to see. I’m also curious, playful, exuberant, and really just a puppy at heart. I walk well on a leash and with a little training, I’ll be even better. I’m curious when meeting people and other dogs. Let’s face it; I’ve never met a stranger I didn’t like. I really want to please and by getting some basic training, I can accomplish my goal. I’ll need a secure yard to keep me safe and curb my wanderlust. Could you be my future family? I’m more than happy to meet you.

Hi… my name is River (aka Canoa),

Adopted 3-27-21

There’s nothing a healthy, young, Husky gal enjoys more than an adventure, and that’s probably the reason I’m here now. In my former home, whenever I had nothing else to do, I would jump a 6’ wall and wander around my neighborhood. Since my mom couldn’t prevent the “unauthorized outings,” she brought me to TALGV to find a home that could. I’m very affectionate and I love people. I need companionship, but I can get bored and in trouble when left alone too long. I’m leash trained, though I get excited when I see other dogs. I’m okay with cats, can use a doggie door, or ask to go out. I like chicken and chicken jerky, I love to play and need a lot of exercise. If you can accommodate me, I’m here for you!

Hi… my name is Franklin,

Adopted 6-27-20

On my trip here, the lady who drove me said I definitely needed my seatbelt. I’m a lively young guy who can be very energetic–just a big pup who needs some basic obedience training. I already know how to sit and lay down. I enjoy playing fetch and I will bring the toy back and drop it gently. I’m treat-motivated, and I’m a gracious gentleman when accepting them. I like to play and get a little mouthy but still gentle. I really love belly rubs and I will reward you with kisses. I have been told that I’m quite a handsome lad. Since I’m new to Green Valley, I would really love to meet you so please call TALGV office and make an appointment to consider adopting me.

Hi… my name is Kringle,

Adopted 3-3-20

I can’t remember what happened, but one day my sister and I woke up to find ourselves alone in an empty house. Thank goodness a kind lady took us in and cared for us until we were 8 weeks old, and then we were brought to TALGV. Shortly afterwards I was adopted, but two months later I’m back. I’m a 4-month-old Shepherd mix boy, and I guess I was too much puppy that loved to play with too many things that were not mine. Everyone here talks about something called basic obedience training and how it helps pups, like me, learn how to behave. Please stop by and say hello, and I hope you are willing to be patient and train me so you won’t want to say good-bye.
