I was a wanderer, and luckily I wandered onto the right porch! They brought me to The Animal League where I was checked out and “fixed up.” I was scared at first, but I’m getting used to the place. Regular meals and a soft bed go a long way. I hang out in a wall cubby where I feel safe and can see out. I may hiss once, just to show you I can, but then you can pet me and brush me. I have an orange coat and handsome coppery eyes. As a young boy I’m ready for my next adventure, so let’s get started!

In my short life I have already had babies, but those days are over for me now. I was a stray—I guess someone did not appreciate my good looks and sweet personality. Now that I’m here at The Animal League, I’m getting comfortable in my new safe surroundings. I sit on the floor under a cat tree where I can see everything, but I do enjoy the attention I get from visitors. I like petting, brushing and scratching, and I will roll over and purr to prove it. How or why I ended up as a stray with one of my puppies is a mystery—and I’d rather not dwell on the past. My days as a young mom are behind me, and I’m ready to be treated like the true princess I am. I’ve been thriving in my foster home, where I proudly show off my refined manners: I’m house-trained, polite, and easy to have around. I walk beautifully on leash without reacting to other dogs, and I’ve been very respectful of the resident cat—no drama-queen antics here. I do enjoy a little adventure and will need a secure yard with supervision (I can scale a 4’ wall!), but what I really want is a loving home to call my own.
