Hi… my name is Arabian,

Adopted 3-14-25

I was left at The Animal League with a batch of other kittens, and we don’t know our history.  All of my buddies have been adopted, and I am also ready for a new home!  I can be a little shy, so maybe that’s why I’m still here.  I like to sleep on a high perch and will come out for petting and treats.  I like to play, too!  My coat is an unusual mixture of stripes and tortoiseshell called “torbie.” Please come visit and check me out.  Look up high to find me.  At almost one year old now, I’m young enough to give you lots of companionship.

Hi… my name is Aztec,

Adopted 8-17-24

“Shy, but sweet” is the way one volunteer described me. I’m at The Animal League because I was left outside by my previous owners when they moved. I was terrified of the big dogs in the neighborhood so I hid as best I could. My rescuer took me into her home where I lived with a teenager and a young child, as well as small dogs and another cat. I got along with all of them. She said I loved to cuddle and would ask for petting. I loved to sleep with my humans or on my cat tree. I’m easy-going, easy to please. All I need is my new human(s) to love! Is that you?

Hi… my name is Baxy,

RAINBOW BRIDGE 11-22-24

I’m not like the other fosters.  Due to my diagnosis, I’m a fospice dog—a foster dog who is in hospice.  But whatever the term, what I know is that I am now a family dog.

We all know that a family can be one person or a houseful.  In my case, my foster family includes another dog and my foster mom and dad (two TALGV volunteers), and now me!  My family opened their hearts and home to me, not as a guest but as one of them.

Whatever lies ahead for me, there is one thing I know for sure:  I will not face it alone.  Thanks to my foster family I can rest assured that my golden days—these precious days—will be full of love, comfort and family.

Hi… my name is Toeby,

Adopted 8-18-24

Why is my name spelled this way? Because I have extra toes on my front and back paws! I’m unique! When my human mom had to move, she brought me along with two other cats to The Animal League. We’re ready to be adopted into another home. She didn’t give much information about me, so I’ll tell you that I’m a handsome guy who is keeping to myself as I adjust to my new surroundings. Although shy, I appreciate the volunteers talking to me. My black satin coat and large golden eyes make for one stunning cat. Although you can’t buy love, you could rescue me. What do you say?
