As a young cat I appeared in a neighborhood and was trapped and brought to the Animal League. Chances are I was out on my own for just a short time—but it was long enough to leave me frightened and shy. However, I was adopted by a nice lady who helped me come out of my shell. Now that she can no longer care for me, I’m back looking for a nice home. The volunteers here say I’m pretty friendly and I really like scratching and brushing. I’m hoping for a chance to show my better qualities. I’m a handsome boy with a fluffy tabby coat–won’t you come meet me and say hello?

Foster Mom says: Neya is curious, but cautious, when meeting dogs and cats. She is active and interested in what is going on around her. She loves to go on walks and to be brushed and petted. She eats best when she is hand fed. Neya prefers to have the run of the house and will indicate when she wants to go out to potty. She was groomed easily and the groomer said her skin and fur appear healthy. She is a delightful dog who wants to be near someone all the time, loves to cuddle and sit on your lap. I’m what you call “chill.” I lived in a home with other cats, but my human had health issues so I’m here now. Whatever. I found a quiet place under a cat tree and stay there most of the time, watching the world go by. I’m not too outgoing but if you come to me, that’s fine. You can pet me. I’m not big on toys right now. Other cats are no problem but I’m not clingy. If you’re looking for a cool cat that is happy to go with the flow, I’m your man. I have a standard grey coat with black stripes, nothing unusual, and that suits me just fine. Maybe you could come by sometime.
