I’m a lovely petite lady who was found wandering behind the Circle K on La Canada. Thankfully, my rescuer brought me to The Animal League. There is little solitude here, but I’m fitting in. Kind volunteers show me attention which I appreciate. I’m not demanding, but I welcome playtime with them. I would be happy just to be with you. I’m in shock over this transition so am hiding in the corner behind a cat bed. I’m sad, but I appreciate the kind volunteers talking to me, reassuring me that my next human is just around the corner. I’m very skittish, but when I want to be petted, I like my tail rubbed and my head scratched. Do you think you could accommodate my preferences? Since I only lived with adults, I’m not sure I’d get along with children or dogs. Just you and me—What do you say?

India Ink

This first year of my life has been rather eventful. I was found at a Tucson gas station: alone, skinny and very hungry with patches of fur gone. My rescuer brought me to her home for a few days. Because I was so scared of her barking dogs, she brought me to The Animal League where I would have the opportunity to show off my quiet, sweet personality. Upon arrival, I was put into foster care until I had my kittens. Now we are all ready to be adopted. I am ready to be cared for in my own quiet home. I have a silky black fur coat. Pet me, please. I need my own human!
