Hi… my name is Pearl,

Adopted 2-14-26

Sometimes the most beautiful pearls are formed after a little irritation. I’m a petite, playful girl who learned that not every environment lets you shine. In my last home, I didn’t quite mesh with one of the other dogs, and that challenge helped reveal what I truly need to thrive. When the setting is right, the magic happens: I show my best self. I’m playful and affectionate, and my sparkle will only grow brighter as trust builds. Like a real pearl, I don’t need to be loud to be valuable; I just need the right place to become polished and complete. If you’re looking for a special companion who will blossom in a loving, well-matched home, I might be your priceless find.

Hi… my name is Cinnamon,

Adopted 1-25-26

I’m the kind of girl who makes life warmer, sweeter, and a whole lot more fun. I came to the shelter with my puppies, raised them like a champ, and we all got adopted. Fast forward a year, and I found myself back at the shelter through no fault of my own when my adopter became ill. Now I’m ready for my real forever chapter. I love people, enjoy other dogs, and have top-notch house manners. I walk nicely on a leash and have that perfect mix of playful energy and calm cuddle vibes. Up for a stroll? I’m in. Ready to relax? I’ve got that covered, too. If you’re looking for a well-mannered sweetheart who adds just the right amount of spice to life, I’m your girl. Let’s make this one permanent.                                        (1/2026)

Hi… my name is June,

Adopted 1-12-26

My life sounds like a country song, full of long roads and second chances. I’ve known what it means to be lost, found, and lost again. I wandered once, was reclaimed, and thought I was finally home. Then I was left behind, found far from my home, until kind people and a microchip brought me safely back to TALGV. This time, my family didn’t come for me. It hurt, but it didn’t change my resolve to start over. You can’t keep a good woman down, after all! I’m a gentle, sociable husky who’s been wonderful with other dogs, takes treats softly, is ready for a walk anytime, loves adventures, and truly misses the companionship of a family. If you long for the devotion I’ll provide, we can write the happy ending to this song!

Hi… my name is Stormy,

Adopted 1-10-26

I’m an energetic puppy with a beautiful brindle and white coat, a soft heart, and a hopeful spirit. I have a lot of love to give. I really adore attention, playful moments, and especially gentle pets—they help me feel safe and seen. New environments can make me a little nervous at first, so I might seem shy, but I promise I’m friendly and sweet once I know you’re kind. With a little patience, I warm up quickly and love being close to my people. I’m still learning about the world and would do best with someone who understands I’m just a baby who is figuring things out. I don’t need much—just love, reassurance, and a forever home.

Hi… my name is Maya,

Adopted 3-20-26

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

Have you admired my unique coat yet? I’m a gorgeous blotchy white and grey Ragdoll. I lived in a home with dogs and my former owner says I’m a very nice cat. I experienced stresses in my life before arriving at TALGV. This showed up in inappropriate litter box behaviors. Now that I am living at TALGV, I seldom have a problem with that. I’m a little shy right now but have warmed up quickly with the volunteers who like to pet and brush my soft coat. I approach them and purr. Do you have a home in need of my presence?  Please come see me!

Hi… my name is Meatloaf,

Adopted 1-7-26

When my human developed severe allergies, my feline buddy and I had to find a new home. They say I’m good with kids and there was a large dog in my home. I enjoy petting, brushing and scratching from the volunteers. I’ve been a little shy since I arrived at The Animal League but now I’m venturing out from my cubby on the floor.  Everyone seems to rave about my gorgeous cinnamon coat. I’m not sure how I got this name, but feel free to consult with me on a new one. Come to meet me and see if we can start a new life together.
