Animal League News

Hi… my name is Livingston,

Adopted 10-14-22

I was found alone in the parking lot of a grocery store—I was skinny and needed help! Luckily, I went to live with my foster mom who fluffed me up and gave me lots of TLC. She says I’m a mellow, quiet boy who still has to grow into my ears and paws. I like to cuddle but am equally happy to sleep on you or under a bed. I’m okay being around other cats. My coat is mostly gray tabby but I have a white chest and paws. I’d love to find a nice home where I can do my growing up and spend another of my nine lives. Let’s meet!

Hi… my name is Bissell,

Adopted 11-7-22

I am one special kitty according to my foster mom and dad. I lived with them and other cats and two large dogs. I am extremely affectionate and like to cuddle with everyone—humans, felines and canines! I may head-butt you to get your attention, but my non-stop purring will reward you for accommodating me! I am very athletic. I run and jump and play with my toys. Being active, I roll over on the scale when I’m being weighed. I’m very curious in a kitten way. My foster parents say that I’m wonderful and that whoever adopts me will be very lucky! Could that be YOU? If you love displays of affection, I’m your kitty.

Hi… my name is Weechee,

Adopted 1-3-23

Do you think I have a strange name? Well, I am a member of the Ewok Litter. Ewoks were fictional species of small, furry beings in the Star Wars Universe. They had large jewel eyes, and so do I! They were strong creatures, and I may become strong as I grow up! We all came from Globe, Arizona. A long trip for us while not feeling well. But once at The Animal League, the volunteers showered us with attention and medical care. And now, I’m ready for my first real home. Will that be yours? Please come meet me and pet my soft, black fur. Gaze into my golden eyes. I’m yours for the taking!

Hi… my name is Kisses,

Adopted with Hugs 11-19-22

WANTED: Special human(s) to adopt special kittens. That would by my brother Hugs and Me! We were found under cardboard on the back of our rescuer’s property. How thankful I am that she brought us to The Animal League where we are being cared for!  Although my eyes have a haze in them, I can easily run, jump, and climb. I am very playful with Hugs. When I can’t find him, I meow, and he replies so that I can come to him. I am enjoying cuddles with volunteers. The phrase “hugs and kisses” refers to love and that is just what we have to share with you! Won’t you please come meet us?

Hi… my name is Hugs,

Adopted with Kisses 11-19-22

WANTED:  Special human(s) to adopt special kittens. That would be my sister Kisses and Me! We were found under cardboard on the back of our rescuer’s property. How thankful I am that she brought us to The Animal League where we are being cared for! My right front leg was broken and had to be amputated, but that has not hindered me. I am a very playful, inquisitive kitten. I hop around like a kangaroo. I love being close to Kisses who needs me to watch out for her. The phrase “hugs and kisses” refers to love and that is just what we have to share with you! Won’t you please come meet us?

Hi… my name is Andrew,

Adopted with Go-Gurt 9-28-22

A handsome lad am I!  My grey fur is soft to pet. I have distinguished markings, including my white chin and white eye liner. Playing with toys is one of my favorite things to do. I also like chasing laser pointers and balls across the room. When that works up my appetite, I devour my canned food and maybe some dry kibble. I am a very well-behaved, sweet boy who also loves to cuddle with my human. I get along with children, but dogs are a no-no! Dogs scare me. So, if you’re looking for a playful, outgoing companion, I am your guy!  Won’t you come meet me? We could make a great team!

Hi… my name is Angel,

Adopted 10-15-22

When my human passed away, I was brought to The Animal League since no one in the family could care for me. Although I miss my human, I am looking for a home where I can share my love. I appreciate cuddles with my human. I love to play with toys. I may be shy with visitors at first, but I long for companionship. I also like to “do my own thing” (very cat-like, don’t you think?). It is unknown if I’m good with other cats, dogs or children. I have lived my life being the “one and only” pet. So, do you have a home for me? We might just be the perfect match!

Hi… my name is Comet,

Adopted 12-6-22

I’m not sure why I wound up here, but I am making the most of it! I am one busy young boy who loves to play. However, I’m well rounded: I will sit in your lap and talk to you while you pet and brush me. I’m not exactly shy, and I love people. I’m a pretty buff color with matching yellow eyes and I’m a Manx, with just a short stubby tail. Volunteers are nice here and I feel safe—but I really want a home of my own. I can keep you entertained with my antics and give you lots of affection! Come on by and meet me!

Hi… my name is Sampson,

Adopted 11-22-22

Deep in my heart, I am a lap dog! But I hide it well from people I don’t know (yet.) My last family said I was loving but protective of them. They called me, “easily trained.” Of course I am: I know that I’m smart! I have learned “stay” and “down” and also how to tell someone when I need to go potty. Plus, I know how to use a doggie door. I haven’t been around children much, but have gotten along with people and other dogs alike. My mom got sick, so I need to find a new home for myself. If you have a bit of patience and are looking for a handsome boy with a comical smile, perhaps you should visit so we can get acquainted? I’ll be waiting!
