Hi… my name is Stanley,

Adopted December 30, 2015

Here’s all we know about me: “Found in my back yard. Was friendly and hungry.” But I’m betting that it won’t take long for everyone to find out that I’m a guy who wants nothing more than to revel in life’s simple pleasures and just hang out with my people. The condition of my coat (awesomely sleek and shiny) would indicate that although I was hungry when found, I’d been cared for pretty well in the recent past, so I think someone must have loved me a lot once. Well, I’m betting that after you meet me and we spend a little time schmoozing, you’ll see that life will be happier for both of us with me in it! Oh come on, give it a try, love might be right around the corner!

Hi… my name is Clark,

Adopted January 8, 2016

Who doesn’t love Maine Coons? Since we’re the largest domesticated cat breed and known for our sociability and intelligence we’re called “gentle giants” and with good reason. Although we’re said to be “relaxed” around other animals and kids, in my case dogs just don’t do it for me, but I’ve got the kids, other cats, and people thing down pat (I’m especially fond of laps, and can be a bit vocal when I want attention)! My family adopted me from a shelter and only had me for three months when their lives were turned upside down. So now I’m here and ready made for a home where I can share my love of life with everyone, and if you’ve never been owned by a Maine Coon, I’d like to show you what you’ve been missing!

Hi… my name is Jill,

Adopted December 23, 2015

Now you know that my brother, Jack, and I didn’t just drop from heaven, but given our personalities, we might be considered “fallen angels” since we’ve got just a bit of that old kitten devilment in us! We were found in a yard in the Santo Tomas section of Sahuarita, and after two days of feeding us with no luck in finding our owner, here we are — ready to bring a bit of impishness to some lucky family. If you’re of a mind that there’s nothing cuter in the world that watching kittens grow up, then we were designed with you in mind! Come on in, have a seat, and prepare to fall in love!

Hi… my name is Whiskers.

Adopted February 27, 2016

When my mom returned me after five months, she said, “He’s an incredible boy and this was a terribly hard decision.” The family had to move to a new home and could only have one pet, so their older, established cat understandably won out. Well, mom had lots of good things to say about me, so here’s a sampling: “Whiskers is energetic and adventurous and incredibly intelligent. He’s vocal, with adorable high trills, playful, and has an affinity for shredding paper. He’s very affectionate, and while not a lap cat, will curl up beside you and adapts well to new environments and people. He’s basically a marvelous cat – beautiful, loving, and bright – and deserves a home where he’ll get the attention and space he needs.” So there – what more could you possibly want?

Hi… my name is Josie.

Adopted December 22, 2015

Bio written June 2015:  This is the second time around for me at TALGV, but the first didn’t count as I was only a few weeks old and my mom, a volunteer, took me home to care for and then became a “failed foster” and adopted me! Sadly, she’s developed some heath problems that necessitate moving and she can only have one pet (the darn dog!) in her new home. She said, “Josie is wonderful cat. She uses the litterbox and scratcher, minds ‘no,’ and is good around other cats and small dogs.” She added that I like to drink water from a faucet and am a bit of a “night owl,” but she just ignored my ramblings and let me be. I’m a sleek  solid black lady who’d love to make a new start in life with you.
