Hi… my name is Sally,

Adopted 9-2-18

Everyone’s scratching their noggins wondering why I’m still here ‘cause I may be one of the sweetest, prettiest, and nicest little girls you’ll ever meet (lots of superlatives there, huh?). Well, they’re all true! My human mom left me with her mom when she moved away, and I guess she wasn’t in the market for a feline friend at the moment, so I’m here hoping that all the wonderful things I have in the plus column will help you decide that I’m the one for you. I’m only six months old, so just think of all the years we’ll have together to make each other happy while watching the world (and the birds outside) go by!

Hi… my name is Annie,

Adopted with Raven 10-31-18

Belly rubs! I live for belly rubs! That, and of course the attendant head and chin scratches that go along with them! My people (a senior couple) didn’t leave a whole lot of information about me when they relinquished me (they did say I lived with another cat but not how well we got on), but the volunteers are finding that although at the moment I’m quite “shy and retiring” as the saying goes, I really do love (and crave) “hands on” attention. I’m a charming 8-year-old dilute torti with a gentle soul who’ll no doubt appreciate a quiet new home where I can spend many long hours sharing life’s pleasures and napping in sunbeams.

Hi… my name is Brittany,

Adopted 4-15-18

After my dad died, his former wife very kindly took me in, but her cat and I just never hit it off, so now I’m a 3½-year-old dilute calico lady in search of chin scratches, the occasional belly rub, a comfy lap, and maybe a big window or two that I can check the world out from. Having lived a quiet life with just my dad, it may take me a while to settle into a new home, but I promise that once I’m in a place where I can relax and learn trust again, I’ll be the loving companion I’ve always been. Why not make your home the next frontier I’m destined to explore? Life’s full of wonderful surprises if you just let them happen!

Hi… my name is Abbie,

Adopted 1-1-18

Wow – there sure are an awful lot of “sweethearts” in this place, so I guess I’m going to have be something extra special to get your attention! How about being loving, gentle, one-eyed (rather dashing I think!), and having a “Rolls Royce” of a purr? Oh, and my rescuers said I love meat (and meow soon as I smell it) and eat tortillas (but not bread) through the bag, so you better keep them hidden away! They found me a few months ago and really wanted to keep me, but one of the resident cats beat me up something fierce, so I’m actually happy to be looking for new digs. I’m a beautiful 4-year-old longhaired calico who’d be just perfect for you!

Hi… my name is Sophia,

Adopted 12-1-17

The problem with living with a human who rescues strays is that sometimes there get to be just too many mouths to feed, and I guess that’s what happened with me and my friend, Thomas. On the plus side, you learn pretty quickly to get along with other critters (including dogs!), but on the down side, you don’t always get to stay forever. Well, mom did her best by hand raising me almost from birth, so I’m a very “handleable” gal as a result. I’m a lovely dilute calico, only 18 months old, so in addition to still being playful (mice and catnip balls are my faves), you’ll get “the whole package” with me. Come check me out – you won’t be disappointed!

Hi… my name is René,

Adopted 10-29-17

I guess it’s nice to be on Facebook, but not because you’re a girl without a home! It was nice that caring neighbors posted my pictures in an attempt to find my owner, but they didn’t have any luck, so here I am, in all my orange, black, and white glory (you can’t miss ME in a crowd!) ready to trade the “fame” of the Internet for a normal life! I may have been a “streetwalker” for a while, as I have a tipped ear (indicating I’d been trapped and spayed), but there’s not a feral bone in my body, so I belonged to someone once. And I’d sure like to belong again! At just 3 years old, think of all the time we’ll have swapping life stories!

Hi… my name is Mariah,

Adopted 12-9-17

Mariah comes with FREE Vet Care for Life

When they were handing out unique looks, I must have been at the head of the line, because with my one-of-a-kind nose, I won first prize! Like many calicos, I’m can be on the shy side, but once you get to know me, my “sweet specialness” comes to the fore (my mom said I’m an “amazing” cat!). Unfortunately “domestic problems” necessitated her moving in with a family member allergic to cats, so now I’m searching for another quiet home where it will be just me and my human sharing a life’s worth of experiences. And at 13 years old, I’ve got lots more living to do, so I can’t think of one reason why it shouldn’t be with you! Oh, and I come with Free Vet Care for Life!

Hi… my name is Callie,

Adopted 11-4-17

Play, play, play, sleep. Play, play, play, eat. Play, play, play, curl up in lap. Repeat. That pretty much sums up what I’m hoping my day will be like with you! When a lady ran into TALGV, said she’d driven two hours, plopped me down in my carrier and left, the volunteers were pretty stunned, so given that “grand entrance,” my past is quite a mystery! But what isn’t, is that I’m am one sweet, super inquisitive, and affectionate girl who somewhere along the line lost my right eye. That doesn’t stop me one bit though, and I’ve been entertaining visitors and volunteers alike with my antics, so if you let me do that for YOU, life couldn’t get any better for both of us!
