Hi… my name is Tally,

Adopted December 22, 2015

They’re calling me “Tally” because I was found under a volunteer’s car here at TALGV and that was a lot easier to pronounce than “talgvee”! Being a foundling, my past is an enigma, but the first thing everyone said when they did my intake “stuff” (that means shots and checking me over everywhere!) was OMG this little girl is sooo sweet, so I guess being abandoned didn’t do any damage to my personality! I’m a petite little girl at just under seven pounds, and at only 12 months of age, I have all the spunk you’d expect of a teenager. I would so like to let that happy spirit enchant your life, so please take a look at me when you visit — love may be just around the corner for us both!

Hi… my name is Missy,

Adopted November 15, 2015

If you’re looking for a “wow factor” in a feline companion, then have a gander at me (and my sister, Inky) — we both have OMG gold bullion eyes (mine set off my ticked tabby fur beautifully!), and great personalities to go along with them! We’re refugees from Amado who were dropped off at a kind lady’s gate, and happily she brought us here as soon as there was space. At our young age, you know that we’re going to have a lot of time ahead of us to share that special brand of kitten-growing-into-adulthood joie de vive you love, so why not make me (and maybe my sister too?) an “offer we can’t refuse”? We’d all be awfully glad you did (and I’m including you in that “all”)!

Adopted February 24, 2016

TENON and MORTISE were named by former carpenter, but they are more likely to respond to terms such as “baby” and “kitty.” They are beautiful and social 5-year-old female almost identical gray tabby twins who need a new home due to owner’s allergy to them. They are spayed, shots are up to date, and they have had a recent full health check. They have no experience with children but have adapted to large dogs in their home. Both girls like petting but Tenon is more of a cuddler and a “velcro” cat who likes to wake you up in the morning. They are 11 to 12 pounds each and owner would prefer they be adopted together if possible. There is no adoption fee for these sweet cats. If you would welcome Mortise and/or Tenon into your family, please call Rick between 8 AM and 8 PM at 520-307-9259.

Hi… my name is KC Girl.

Adopted April 27, 2016

KC Girl Comes with Free Vet Care for Life

My dad adopted me from TALGV ten years ago when I was five and my life with him (and a young cat) was peachy keen until he decided he wanted to travel. Now there are some cats who’ll say, “Yay — let’s go” (well not too many actually!), but at my age, I guess I wasn’t up to it and wanted to just “be me” in my own familiar surroundings. Dad said that I love being brushed, will let you clip my front claws, and sleep pretty much wherever I want. I do need to trim down a smidge, but that’s only a matter of less food and fewer treats (and maybe some exercise?) — just like humans, so won’t you give this perfectly seasoned lady one more chance?

Hi… my name is Kitty,

Adopted November 7, 2015

Here’s my mom’s plea: “Please, please take care of Kitty! He’s a very good cat who loves to be brushed, cuddle, and sleep on the bed with you. He loves playing with his stuffed mouse, tossing it in the air to catch it, and will also follow you around like a puppy.” Mom had some serious health issues that compelled her to relinquish me after two years, but you can tell by her appeal that that was really hard for her to do. I’ve only lived with adults all my life (apparently I’m a little too animated in my play with kids), so if a classic tabby boy with “tiger” markings and “no behavior problems ever” sounds like a fit for you, come meet me!

Hi… my name is Ritz,

Adopted September 30, 2015

My foster mom, with whom I lived for many weeks until I gained my strength and “got growed,” said, “No one told Ritz she was named after a cracker because she’s thinking more along the lines of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel!  She’s a very sweet kitten who just seems to have class.” Well, that’s what happens when you’re pampered and coddled — you learn to love (and expect) it! Since I was only three weeks old when found, I needed a lot of TLC to get my weight up with extra nourishment, but one look at me and you’ll see how well that paid off! I’m a darling, medium-haired torti/tabby mix girl who is going to be one of those “can’t-take-your-eyes-off-her” ladies when I’m grown. You be the one to watch that happen!

Hi… my name is Crackle,

Adopted September 7, 2015

Chances are you can guess by my name and those of my siblings, Snap and Pop, that we were dubbed the “Rice Crispies Litter!” Like a lot of the summer crop of kittens, we were too young and too small to come to TALGV after we were found, so one of the awesome volunteers took us home to “fatten us up” and socialize us so we’d be the perfect size and have the perfect personalities to entice potential adopters. Well, it worked like a charm for my siblings, but I’m still waiting for that special someone to come through the door. I’m having tons of fun playing with my “kittens-in-arms,” but would way rather be doing that in a big, endlessly fascinating home of my own! I’ll bet your place would be just perfect!

Hi… my name is Towhee.

Adopted September 5, 2015

As the remaining kitten from the “Bird litter,” I’m here to tell you that you’re missing out on a heck of a good time watching me grow up! Our mom (“Birdie” of course!) raised us all in a shed for the first weeks of our lives, but since we had a human feeding and socializing us (thank you human!), we all turned out to be just as friendly and happy-go-lucky as any kitten raised indoors. I’m a classic tabby boy who promises to be the focal point of the day as you help me mature from a typical “into everything” kitten (one of the best parts of kittenhood!) into a lap cat/companion par excellence. C’mon … you know you want to, so adopt me now!
