Hi… my name is Mercy.

Adopted June 12, 2015

If you ever needed an example of “exponential,” then my siblings and I are it! It started, as it always does, with two unneutered cats back in 2013, and here we are, now 15 total (there were more, but they didn’t make it). We were all forsaken by our owner, but at least she left age and personality information about us on our carriers, and judging by our health and temperament, we were all very much loved once. My little “bio” said, “Mercy is very sweet and was very protective of her babies, but is now very playful.” (Since I’ve made my final contribution to the world’s kitten population, you won’t have to worry about that last part!) I’m basically a lovebug, so why not let me play my way into your heart?

If you’re wondering about my name, my “bio” said, “When a very small kitten, if you picked her up, she acted like a fainting goat and would fall over on her side, seemingly paralyzed!” (There are such things — look it up!) Anyway, I’m still a fall-over-in-your-arms lover, and would adore having yours around me!

The volunteers are having a terrible time choosing a favorite among all of the youngsters in my family because we’re all sweet, outgoing, and engage in all the typically endearing kitten things that make you fall in love. You could make their choice lots easier by taking one or two of us home!

My little “bio” said, “Cleo is very, very sweet, but rather solitary and doesn’t like a lot of commotion.” With the mob of critters I lived with all my life there was a lot of that going on, so I’m betting a quiet home where I don’t have to vie for attention would be perfect paradise!

My little “bio” said, “Bug is typically curious, but is sometimes skittish with new places and people. He’s a great lap cat who can climb the corners of door jambs!” That means all I need is a nice tall cat tree to stretch my legs and your vacant lap and I’ll be set for life!

Hi… my name is Biggun,

Adopted September 26, 2016

If you ever needed an example of “exponential,” then my siblings and I were it! It started, as it always does, with two unneutered cats, and then there were more, and more, and, well, you know! We were all forsaken by our owner, but she did leave some information about us on our carriers, and judging by our temperament, we were all very much loved once. My little “bio” said, “Biggun got his name because that’s what he was–a big one– and he’s all love.” The volunteers couldn’t agree more and I’m living up to my billing– I’m a “loving, affectionate, well-behaved, calm, curious, no-problem-at-all” guy (who can easily be yours!). I promise just five minutes with me will convince you!

Hi… my name is Lila.

Adopted March 6, 2015

Think stroking velvet and you’ve got me! And boy do I ever love to be stroked! My rescuer’s neighbors moved away and left my mom and two siblings in the yard. Mom and one kitten disappeared (I don’t even want to think about what happened to them!); my Good Samaritan kept my sister, and since he couldn’t find a home for me, brought me here where I’d be safe. He said that I’m a total charmer, who loves chasing a laser pointer, and want to be with people and kids all the time. I’m just a youngster, so am still “into” things like kittens are, but my favorite thing is being held, loved, and made to feel secure, so I’m hoping that’s something that’s at the top of your agenda!

Hi… my name is Jordan.

Adopted April 25, 2015.

Ya know, you’d think that when people adopt kittens, they’d expect, well, kitten behavior! But not so the two people that adopted me! I was only in their homes for a few weeks, and was returned both times because they “had forgotten how energetic kittens are!” Okay — we’re into everything, are super curious, playful, and active — that’s supposed to be a huge part of our charm! Soon enough (too soon, some say!), we grow out of that and become dignified, laid back housemates. So if you’re looking for a year of fun, and then lots of years of just “hanging out,” then I’d be your guy. I’m already a “teenager” and am desperate for a person or family to love. C’mon now, admit it, I’m really what you want, aren’t I?

Arrived February 12, 2015.
