Hi… my name is Mariah.
Adopted June 12, 2015
I was living a pretty happy-go-lucky indoor/outdoor life with my mom and a dog until her circumstances changed precipitously and necessitated a move. Unfortunately, I couldn’t go along, and my mom wasn’t about to leave me behind to fend for myself (thank goodness!). So thanks to her and TALGV, I’m safe now and am hopeful I’ll find a new family who will love me as much as she did. I am a beautiful, playful, smoky grey and white, 2-year-old girl, and a cuddler extraordinare! Since I grew up with a dog, I’d probably be okay with another one as long it showed the respect we felines deserve! I am looking forward to being an indoor only cat with a soft bed and new human or two to call my own.

It sure doesn’t do a gal’s ego much good when she’s unceremoniously shoved into the arms of a stranger! Especially when she is a “looker” and a sweetheart like me! You wonder what I did to deserve that kind of treatment — but I guess it’s for the best, as now I can be sure that wherever I go it will be to a loving home that really WANTS me! And why wouldn’t you? I’m a gorgeous, young, medium-haired, blue-eyed, Siamese mix girl, and have the softest, rabbit-like fur you’ve ever felt (and I’m as affectionate and quiet as can be to boot!). So why not help me put the bad memories behind me so I can begin accumulating new, happy ones with you?

When my biographer asked about my personality, the cat coordinator said, “Cloud is an absolute dream! She is a volunteer favorite and LOVES TO BE HELD and petted. I swear she has no bones in her body as she just melts in your arms any which way you hold her. When we put her in a room she found a bed, crawled in, and made herself right at home. I would love to have this cat!” Combine that with my good looks — a lovely grey and white coat with oh-so-beautiful golden eyes — my settled adult self (5 years old — just the perfect age!), and you get a warm, loving, and desirable package. I’m hopeful that once you meet me, it’s one you’ll want to have for yourself!

Casper comes with FREE Vet Care for Life.
When you’ve lived with twelve other cats and three dogs, you’ve got to be considered a pretty flexible feline, and I am! All of my tribe came to TALGV after my mom went into a nursing home. I had a kidney infection when I arrived and everyone said I was a trooper who maintained my friendly and sweet demenor throughout (and I even got a blue ribbon for being such an cooperative patient!). How many cats can say that?! I’m feeling much better now and am back snuggling with my buddies. I am a bob-tailed, grey and white boy who comes with Free Vet Care for Life. I’m looking for a quiet home with a nice window seat where I can check out the birds and squirrels. Maybe, if you love me, you’ll also consider one of my friends (Brielle or Dundee) for twice the love!
