Hi… my name is Whammie.

Adopted November 2, 2014.

Because we were so young, my siblings and I went into foster care shortly after we arrived and our human mom cared for us until we were old enough to find our own homes. My brother and I were adopted by a family with two kids, but sadly a divorce broke the family up, and we were just “too much to handle” during that painful process. My mom said that as a typical youngster, I loved games, attention, chasing my toys (and my brother!), and that I was a “great, happy, loving kitten.” I’m a young and captivating tabby and white boy, who is once again looking for my perfect place in life. I’m hoping it’s with you and that you’re right around the corner!

Hi… my name is Emma.

Adopted February 4, 2015.
For a young gal, I’ve got quite a few commands under my collar! I know “sit, outside, come, crate, and no” (the last two are particularly handy when training a puppy apparently!). My family only had me for a month, so given that I’m fairly proficient in those things already, you can bet that it’s going to be a walk in the park for someone who has time for my education to round out my training. I loved the kids I lived with (all three were very young and I was gentle as could be with them), but I sort of overwhelmed the resident dog with my exuberance, so my family decided I needed a place where my sweet, playful self could be the center of attention and get ALL the love!

Hi… my name is Violet.

Adopted October 23, 2014.

When I arrived at TALGV it was obvious that I was soon to be a mom, so I went to live with a foster mom until I gave birth and raised my babies. Happily, that’s all done now, and it’s MY turn to sit in the spotlight (with no other cats or dogs please)! My foster mom said that I’m a “total lap kitty” and want to be where people are (apparently I’m a lot like a dog in that respect!). As an added bonus, I don’t like wet food, so that’s one more plus for me — no expensive canned food to buy! I’m a lovely violet-grey tabby lady, and I know you’ll cheer the day you made me the light of your life!

Hi… my name is Shadow.

I was adopted July 28, 2014.

There were a whole passel of my siblings and canine friends living at our mom’s home and we were all enjoying life to the fullest. Then our world collapsed when she died and we had to be rounded up so we could find new homes. We’re pretty frightened at the moment, but at heart we’re all very friendly critters, so it won’t be long before our old personalities will come shining through. I’m a young lilac-point Siamese boy who “eats a lot,” likes to have my ears scratched and be brushed (I’ll “talk” and give you head butts when you do!), play with my friends, and chase laser lights. All I need is lots of love and attention, and I’ll be my old loving self in no time.

Hi… my name is Madrid.

Adopted October 15, 2014.

When my siblings, London, Paris, and I arrived at TALGV we were only a few days old. Our mother was killed by dogs in Nogales while trying to lure them away from us, so we were truly lucky when the owner of the house saved us and brought us here. Then we were doubly lucky because there were two foster dads who could take turns feeding us every two hours (‘round the clock!) for weeks until we were old enough to make it on our own. So after all that human attention, you have to know what sweet, thankful, people-loving kids we are now! I’ve grown into a delightful, friendly, and very active boy, and all I want in life is another human or two to spend my life with!
