Hi… my name is Chase,

Adopted with Chad 4-1-19

So far, life hasn’t been a big bowl of cream for my brother Chad and me. After our dad died, someone thought they were doing a good deed by leaving us outside and feeding us, but after a few months, we became more defensive, as there were so many threatening things out there. Once upon a time I was a very sweet guy though, and with the help of the volunteers, I’m slowly coming around. I just know that with patience and love in a nice quiet home the “old me” will come to the fore. Everyone feels that is would be easier for us to adjust if Chad and I were adopted together, so this is my plea for you to give us a chance!

Hi… my name is Simba.

Adopted February 13, 2016

If you’re dreaming of a feline friend who’ll entertain, cuddle, and purr his way into your heart, then your dreams are about to come true! My mom adopted me when I was just a bouncing baby, but when her son (my primary “caregiver”) moved into a place that didn’t allow pets, and she was going to be traveling for six months, I had to come back so I could find another human to love. Mom said that I was an easy rider who loved to play with toys (hey, I’m still a kitten!), liked to sleep on top of the fridge (we cats love high places!), and was a real “no sweat” guy. Well, they’re saying that “orange is the new black,” so why not take me home and find out!  (PS – Hope you like my baby picture… the last one in the gallery.)

Hi… my name is Red Velvet,

Adopted December 24, 2015

The day my siblings, Coconut, Tiramisu, Custard, and I were named, someone must have been having a real dessert craving – or they knew that we were going to live up to our names in the sweetness department! In any case I’m doing my best to justify my name, as I’m beginning to crave attention (and the attendant ear/chin scratches) more and more each day. To top it all off, I’m a darling, medium-haired boy who’s been endowed with spectacular good looks that will have you under my spell in no time. I’ve been here a while now – some of my kin have already found homes -– so why not let me brighten up your holidays plus many of your years to come?

Hi… my name is Graham (aka Jake),

Adopted January 3, 2016

Nothing lasts forever they say, but when my BFF Tallulah and I were adopted together back in 2012, we thought our new home would be just that. Well, life’s unpredictable, so when our dad became ill and went into hospice care, we knew that things were about to change. Even though I’m laid back at the moment, since I’m still very much a youngster at 4 years, I like to chase the odd pipe cleaner, love swatting those fascinating feather toys, and, best of all, I adore being petted. I’ve never been around kids, so I expect that an adult home that would be willing to give me (and maybe my housemate?) lots of love would help me get back to my old, endearingly winning ways.

Hi… my name is Ginger,

Adopted November 10, 2015

With amber waves of grain eyes that match my golden fur, you might not even think to look any further to see my personality — but that would be a mistake! A woman in Sahuarita was out looking for her errant dog (you gotta keep an eye on those critters!) when I spied her and decided to follow her home. Happily she found her dog, but sadly for me it wasn’t going to be a match made in heaven. But since I’m such a sweet, young thing, I hope it won’t be long before someone recognizes me for the treasure I am and makes me a “can’t refuse” offer to take me home, because you can be sure I’ll take you up on it in a minute!

Hi… my name is Duncan,

Adopted September 14, 2016

There aren’t tons of people willing to care for feral cats, but the wonderful lady who rescued my siblings and me has been doing that for years. I think the word got out to the feline moms in her neighborhood, as they often brought her their litters, knowing that she’d see that they were safe, and so it was with me. I went to live with a big, active family for a few months, and although they said that I was lovable, gentle, and playful, their other cat often intimidated me, so sometimes my manners took a bit of a tumble. I’d like to prove that I really can be a perfectly behaved little guy, and I’ll bet in a more calm home where it’s just you and me, I’ll be just that!

Hi… my name is Argyle,

Adopted March 1, 2016

There aren’t tons of people willing to care for feral cats (and take the time to trap, neuter, and release them), but the wonderful lady who rescued us has been doing just that for years. I think the word has gotten out to the feline moms in her neighborhood, as they’ve been bringing her their litters for a while now, knowing that she’d see that they were safe, and so it was with my siblings, Duncan, Bronte, and me. As much as she could, she also made sure that we were socialized, but given that we lived outside all our lives, we could still use some additional “climbing onto your lap” encouragement. Happily, we’re all healthy as the proverbial horse, so you can rest assured all you have to add is love!
