Hi… my name is Princess Ann,

Adopted June 6, 2016

In case you’re the forgetful kind, my people said that I am the most reliable alarm clock you could ever want! I “remind” them when it’s time to feed me, and in case you’ve been a tad lax in the cleaning-the-litterbox-department, I’ll give you a semi-subtle nudge in that direction too! I’ve lived happily with them and my best friend, a Chihuahua (who I’d love to stay with!), all my life but when they took on the role of being foster parents, their new job kept them away from the house for 18 days at a time. I have absolutely no “bad habits” (okay, I’m not a big fan of kids), and not the least bit picky about my food, so if you’re looking a loving blue-eyed companion, I’m raising my paw!

Hi… my name is Andy,

Adopted 9-8-17

Andy comes with Free Vet Care for Life

Phew! I now know what prisoners on death row who get a reprieve at the last minute feel like! My “crime” was not getting along with the resident cat (no problems with the dog!), so my people took me to a vet to be “sent over the rainbow bridge.” Thankfully, being a perfectly healthy gentleman, the vet referred them to TALGV, so here I am, counting my lucky stars every day! I lived with my people most of my life, and aside from wanting to be the only feline, was a perfectly behaved, happy-go-lucky guy. My blend of Siamese and silver tabby coloring gives me a certain sophistication, and that, combined with my maturity (and Free Vet Care for Life), will surely enchant just about anyone looking for a quiet companion!

Hi… my name is Ringo,

Adopted February 13, 2016

My friend, Ottis, and I lived in the same home for years, but when our human mom realized she couldn’t take care of us anymore due to her own health concerns, she showed us her love once more by letting us go to find new homes. I’m a female Dachshund—my current name might make you think otherwise, but I am a girl—7-1/2 years old, and a standout in the looks department thanks to my beautiful silver dapple coat. I am shy, but reported to be good with cats, dogs, and children in the past. So, once I warm up and feel comfortable, you’ll see how loving I can be. And for fun, we could play with my favorite squeaky toys! Please come visit me today and see how great we’ll be together.

Mama Kitty is a beautiful 3 1/2-year-old long-haired silver grey and white girl who would like to be your new best friend. She needs a new home because owner had to leave her behind when moving away suddenly. Mama Kitty would prefer a quiet home and likes to sleep in your bed. She is shy at first but warms up and is playful when she gets to know you. Her soft angora-type fur never mats. Mama Kitty is spayed, in good health, and her shots are up to date courtesy of TALGV. If you would give this special girl a loving inside home, please call Doris between 8 AM and 8 PM at 405-312-7782.

Hi… my name is Titan.

Adopted August 20, 2015

I was found at Sahuarita Lake, but it wasn’t a walk in the park for me. I was lost. A kind human asked around the neighborhood, but no one knew me. So now I’m here, at TALGV, where my new friends are taking care of me after those tough, on-my-own days. With their help, I’m quickly becoming the happy, handsome Husky I’m meant to be. I’m already a good-natured, friendly guy. My coat is silver, black and white, and I’m about 64 pounds and 3 years old. You may have noticed my one brown eye and one blue eye, which is kinda cool, but I’m hoping the main thing you notice is what a naturally good companion I can be. If you come for a visit, maybe we’ll each find our next best friend!

Hi… my name is Marble.

Adopted August 26, 2015

Here’s what we know about me: “Wife found him in Amado. Brought him home. Tried to give him away. Got other cats and dog and they aren’t happy.” Huh, well, here’s what else they know about me: I’m downright awesomely gorgeous with my unusual black/grey/white fur, I’m only 3 months old, so I’m gonna charm your socks off like all kids my age, and I have so much time ahead of me to do just that! And did I mention sweet? I’ve pretty much covered that ,too. Now all you need to do is plop me in your lap for a chuck under the chin and an ear scratch, and I know I won’t have to recite the Gettysburg Address to get you to take me home!

Hi… my name is Harkins.

Adopted June 28, 2015

With a name like Harkins, you can probably guess where I was found! That was a huge parking lot for such a little guy like me, so I was very happy to go live in the safety of a home with a foster mom for a while. Now that I’ve been here at TALGV for a bit, I’m getting to play with all the other kitten residents and enjoying it immensely, but I’d be happier if I had a place of my own (with maybe one other kitten for company — I’ve gotten kind of used to them!) where I can charm the socks off you. I’m a darling Siamese boy who is going to mature into one awesome fellow and I just know you want to watch that happen!

Hi… my name is Nana.

Adopted March 12, 2015

Nana Comes with Free Vet Care for Life

Boy, after 10 years living with my dad, you’d think maybe I’d have a bit of “seniority,” but I guess his fiancé’s allergies won out and I had to go (the darn dog got to stay though!). OK — I guess human companionship trumps feline, but I have to tell you that I’m a cuddle bunny, too! Dad said I loved to sit in his lap, had never shown any aggression or “chewed on the furniture” (we cats aren’t really known for furniture chewing!) and am simply an all-around sweet-natured lady. I’m a declawed, senior, blue-eyed, Siamese/silver tabby gal (and I come with Free Vet Care for Life), who’d love to shower you with as much affection as I did my dad. Won’t you give me that chance?

Kek

Hi… my name is Kek.

Adopted December 9, 2014.

Don’t ask! I have no idea how I got my name — but my people said, “If you ask him if he’s special, he’ll jump in your lap,” so maybe my name is as unique as I am! My mom passed away on Thanksgiving Day and there was no one to take my sister, Honey, or me in, so we’re back at TALGV hoping we can continue to share our “specialness” together with someone else! My mom’s daughter said that I’m a sweet, curious, friendly guy who loves treats (Temptations especially!), and that I’m both playful and laid back — depending on my mood and yours! I’m a striking, blue-eyed, 4-year-old Siamese and grey tabby mix boy (yes, still a “boy”!) who wants to be nothing but special for YOU (and Honey, too, please)!

Arrived December 1, 2014.
