Where am I? Right here! And no, I don’t wear a striped shirt or glasses. I was picked up on the streets out of town so I can’t tell you anything about my past. But I’m a sweet, calm lap cat so somewhere along the line someone must have cared for me. I roll over for belly rubs and will push up against you for attention. You can pick me up and cuddle me. I’m independent. I don’t like nail trims, other cats or laps. However, I DO like to eat and play with toy balls, wands and ribbons. I have a clean, gorgeous fur coat. In my previous home, I never scratched furniture but liked to nap on the armchair. At night I slept with my human. Shy with strangers, I had a “hidey-hole” in a closet. At The Animal League I’m tucked into a “cave bed.” Volunteers are speaking softly to me to coax me out of my safe place. I’ll probably always need my hiding place, but I do desire a new home with human(s) who appreciate an independent beauty who needs love. Is that you?

I’m all dressed up in my tuxedo fur coat waiting to go home with you! In my previous home, I lived with a human couple, another cat and a dog. Although I may be shy at first, I love to play and cuddle with my human. I’ll sleep anywhere and eat whatever you place before me. When my humans moved, they couldn’t take me with them so here I am ready to share my life with you. If you want a buddy to go exploring with you, I’m the one!
