Lucy

Lucy is an energetic and affectionate 41-pound, 13-month-old female Border Collie mix that needs a new home. She is housebroken, leash and crate trained. She loves other dogs and children; cats are unknown. Lucy has been spayed and is up to date with her shots. She needs a secure yard for play and loves water, but owner’s pool is making her sick. She is friendly, very smart, and is eager to learn all you can teach her. There is no adoption fee for this special girl.

When I first arrived at TALGV, I was a little nervous and shy, but I’m quickly gaining confidence. Since arriving here, I seem to feel more secure and trusting. I know the command “sit” and I know how to use the doggie door. I enjoy my walks and even though I pull a little, I do well on a leash. People here think I’m friendly and affectionate. I’m also inquisitive and love looking out the window because I don’t want to miss ANYTHING! If you feel the time is right for you to open your heart to a nosy, four-legged family member, please call and make an appointment. When my family moved they left me with their neighbor who, after a couple of months, brought me to TALGV. I’m a sweet 6-year-old female brindle Boxer. I seem to be good around other dogs and children of all ages. I’m housetrained and according to my foster mom, I have good indoor manners. I also know the commands sit, shake, and come. I can be very playful but still enjoy just relaxing in the warmth of the sun. I’m good on a leash and look forward to going on walks. I don’t like loud noises, but who does? I’m an affectionate gal and I really love attention. Overall, you might say I’m move-in ready.
