I am a large, tan-colored, mixed-breed fellow with a super-sweet disposition. They didn’t teach me much when I was younger, so right now I live with my foster mom so I can learn some “manners.” So far, I have mastered walking nicely while on a leash, telling her when I need to go potty, and I laying down in my crate when she tells me to. (Although, just between us, I would much rather stay by her side!) But I am having lots of fun learning all this new stuff and I’m really excited when I get it right! I also like to go places and play and run with other dogs. And when we come home, I’d really love to sit on your lap and get a belly rub!

When I first arrived at TALGV, I was a little nervous and shy, but I’m quickly gaining confidence. Since arriving here, I seem to feel more secure and trusting. I know the command “sit” and I know how to use the doggie door. I enjoy my walks and even though I pull a little, I do well on a leash. People here think I’m friendly and affectionate. I’m also inquisitive and love looking out the window because I don’t want to miss ANYTHING! When my owner’s health situation changed I had to come back to TALGV with my sister, Nalla. I’m a laid-back blonde, young boy. I’m fairly relaxed in this new place and mildly curious about things going on around me. They say I’m skittish and anxious, but I think maybe I’m just lacking confidence. I’m easy going around other dogs, and I even relish having another confident dog near me to show me the ropes on how to be a great friend and companion. Being young, I have a lot to learn about walking on a leash and basic obedience. I just need a loving and patient person to help me out of my shyness. Won’t you come meet me?

Any day that involves a field trip is my favorite day. I love riding in a car and traveling to exciting new places. Once there, I enjoy all the new sights and smells and spending time with someone special. I’m a good looking 2-year-old male Rottie mix with soulful eyes. I use a doggy door, know the command “sit” and can learn so much more. In the kennel I seem shy and timid, but once out, I’m a different boy altogether. I didn’t get along with the dog in my last home, but I’m not sure I should be blamed for that. If you’re looking for a companion to share your travels, please call for an appointment to meet me.
