Hi… my name is Buddy Boy,

Adopted 10-25-22

Well, I was allowed to be outside and the neighbors objected. Somehow that resulted in me coming here, looking for a home where I can stay indoors all the time. I was a little shy here at first, but I quickly came out of my shell. So now I’m enjoying being petted by the volunteers, and I love to be brushed. I approach visitors and volunteers and will jump into your lap for attention. I like to look out the window (maybe remembering my outdoor days). I have a nice gray and white coat and a cute pink nose. All I’m missing is a nice, safe home. Can you help me out with that?

Hi… my name is Panda,

Adopted 3-19-23

Here’s the deal. When I was a kitten I lived with two young kids, two dogs, and another cat. We all got along great, and my people said I was a typically playful boy, loved to romp with everyone (especially the animals), and was “always hungry and stole food from the others.” Hey, I was a growing kitten! I came to The Animal League after a few months and was adopted, spending my “early years” with a nice person who is now going into assisted living. I’m not up for living with children again, since I do like to play a little rough.  I like to be petted and will be friendly. How about it?

Hi… my name is Tank,

Adopted with Nubia 11-10-22

Nubia and I have been together since we were born. Although we are siblings, I am almost twice her size and have always made sure she was okay. You know: protect her from strangers, snuggle at night, and play with her. But it doesn’t mean that we don’t like to snuggle with our people. On the contrary! I, for one, prefer sleeping in a real bed over one made for dogs. It just takes the two of us a bit to warm up, especially with all the back and forth recently. But as everyone here can tell you, if you give us a little space when you first arrive, I will check you out and soon Nubia and I will be your best friends. Best Friends Forever, if you ask our preference!

Hi… my name is Nubia,

Adopted with Tank 11-10-22

My brother Tank and I have been together since we were born. Although we are siblings, he is almost twice my size and has always made sure I was okay. He is a great protector and I like to play with him. But it doesn’t mean that we don’t like to snuggle with our people. On the contrary! Tank prefers to sleep in bed with our people and I love sitting on laps! It just takes the two of us a bit to warm up, especially with all the back and forth recently. Hi… my name is Pookie,

NOTE: My bio needs update.

The cutest, most petite young lady you will ever meet! That’s who I am. As a kitten I was adopted by a human who pampered me. I preferred to dine out of glass dishes rather than metal. I LOVED human veggies as well as feline fare. Not a picky eater! I slept in a soft-sided kennel at night. Sadly, my human had to relinquish me because I needed more social activity than she could provide. My human described me as “laid back, playful, independent and outgoing…perhaps shy with strangers.”  So, take your pick. I’m a well-rounded feline who would love to be at home with you. Please come meet me so I can demonstrate my charms.

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may  call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Snickers,

Adopted 10-6-22

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

I’m a sweet little treat, just like my name:  Snickers! My two previous owners both said I was the sweetest, most loving dog they’ve ever had. I was brought here because neither could take care of me any more. I’m told I’m a Poodle mix, which means I’m smart and love to sit on laps. I’m good with just about everybody – cats, dogs, kids, and adults. Give me a box of toys and I’ll dive in head first, entertaining you with my antics. I’m 12, have Vet Care Support for Life, and am house-trained but have a little dribble problem. I can’t help it due to a birth defect that affects my plumbing. It never dampens my joyful spirit, though, and I’m happiest being at home, cuddling up with my humans. I just need to find “home” again.

Hi… my name is Abigail,

Adopted 8-1-22

You know how most cats hate water don’t you? Well, the volunteers said that when they gave me a much-needed bath and brushing out, I purred the whole time! Maybe it’s just that I wanted attention so badly that I was grateful for anything! My young mom brought me and my real mom and her new kittens into TALGV to save us because her landlord was threatening to abandon us in the desert (he was definitely not a cat person!), so we’re all mighty thankful for that! I’ve had a bit of a rough time in my short life, but I’m hopeful I can now get on with the business of just being the playful companion I’m meant to be. Won’t you give me a chance to do just that?

Tre

Hi… my name is Tre (aka Curl Girl),

Adopted 11-9-22

I was adopted from The Animal League as a kitten with a playmate. When my owner died I came back to look for a new home. I was adopted, but after a time I didn’t get over my shyness with dad. I like to hide out during the day and come out at night, when I’m ready. And I don’t like to be rushed! I’m solid black with bright yellow eyes that seem to glow in the dark. I’m quite shy, but I do enjoy brushing from the volunteers. Can you help me come out of my shell?
