Hi… my name is Angel,

Adopted 6-17-17

I was found wandering some dirt roads near here, which can be fun if you can go home at the end of the day. But I didn’t have a home. My finder liked me, but I was too rough with her mini Chihuahua, so now I’m here, hoping the next winding road leads me to my happily ever after. According to my finder, I liked playing with kids, and volunteers agree that I enjoy the company of people. Indeed, I’m definitely a fun-loving dog, who can walk well on a leash, and cuddle, too. And although I wasn’t a good match with my finder’s dogs, I’ve lived with another dog here at TALGV. I’m a brindle, grey and white female, 61 pounds and about 2 years old. Won’t you please come find me here?

Hi… my name is Brady,

Adopted 8-8-17

Right before being rescued, I was almost hit by a car. Needless to say, the kind person who helped me out that day received a super-sized thank-you from me! And then I was happy to come here, where people are friendly and fun. That’s what I had in mind when I was lost and searching—active people who enjoy exercise and energetic playtime, along with a loyal companionship that lasts forever. I’m a young yellow Lab male,  about 73 pounds, with a whole lot of living to do. I know what it is to be a stray dog—without a home or anyone who loves you especially, but the good life is out there, too. Won’t you let me be your lively, devoted buddy—the one who thinks you’re the greatest!

Hi… my name is Misty,

Adopted with Sonata 6-5-17

There are just too many homeless cats and not enough shelters or adopters to give them all “happy ending” stories, but TALGV is doing its darndest to see that it can do that for as many as possible! Over the past year, they’ve taken a number of us from a shelter that’s closing and they’ve all been absolutely delightful, outgoing, loving felines. And I’m no exception! With my mismatched blue and gold eyes, and silky white fur, I’m beautiful, too, if I do say so myself! I’m only about a year old (with that curious kitten soul), so if you have a window overlooking a garden or yard, a welcoming lap, and a comfy bed to share, well, I think life would be absolutely perfect!

Over the past year, they’ve taken a number of us from a shelter that’s closing and they’ve all been absolutely delightful, outgoing, loving felines. And I’m no exception! I also have an interesting rabbit-like stance when I eat (which is OFTEN ‘cause I need to gain some weight!), since somewhere along the way I lost my tail (but personally, I think that makes me just that much more charming!). At round about 8 years old, you can’t go wrong banking on my love for many a year!

Hi… my name is Amber,

There are just too many homeless cats and not enough shelters or adopters to give them all “happy ending” stories, but TALGV is doing its darndest to see that it can do that for as many as possible! Over the past year, they’ve taken a number of us from a shelter that’s closing and they’ve all been absolutely delightful, outgoing, loving felines. And I’m no exception! When I arrived, I was still nursing my (happily LAST!) litter of kittens, but now that they don’t need me any longer, it’s MY time to shine! I’m not really out of my “cat teens” yet at about a year old, so when you take me home, you can expect energy, curiosity (OK, cat curiosity knows no age!), and love galore!
