Hi… my name is Tess,

Adopted 4-28-17

I was found in the Rancho Sahuarita area, a beautiful, tan Lab/Mastiff mix female in need of a friend. I was too thin, had a significant cut on the inside of my right hind leg, and didn’t know who to trust. Fortunately, my rescuer brought me here, where my wound has been tended, the food is nutritious, and—the best part—I’m enjoying the company of my new human friends. I know they’re my friends because they take me for walks, spend time with me, and they see that I have the makings of a great companion. Inside my somewhat big body (about 68 pounds), there’s an even bigger heart that’s yearning to belong to someone, to be the loyal and loving dog of someone who loves me back. Could you be the one?

Hi… my name is Molly,

Adopted 4-14-17

Dang! Everything was going just great in my life until my mom’s health got to the point where she needed to go into assisted living. I know she’s going to miss me (and my brother, Max) almost as much as I’m going to miss her, but I have high hopes that a similar life is in the cards for me. She adopted us when we were youngsters, and since it was just the three of us, we lived a peaceful, happy life. The transition from a quiet home to a, well, let’s just say “action-packed” shelter has left me a little shy at the moment, but that’ll pass when I have another person to love and there’s absolutely no reason it couldn’t be you!

Hi… my name is April,

Adopted 1-2-18

Here’s my recent history in a nutshell from my rescuer (named April!): “She came to my door in the middle of the night being chased by javalina and coyotes. The javalina was about 5 steps from the cat and my door, and when I opened it she ran right in. I slept with her overnight on my porch to comfort her, and she is SO sweet and loving it’s hard to believe she was a stray. I have rescues already so couldn’t keep her.” Well that’s about enough excitement for me for one lifetime! At just about a year old, I’ve got lots of time to put all that behind me, so I’m hopeful you’ll help do just that!

Hi… my name is Cuddles,

Adopted 3-29-17

There’s one thing about being a stray dog that I know for sure: It’s scary! It can also be painful. When I was rescued by the highway, I had cholla needles in my mouth and on my legs. Needless to say, I’m grateful to be safe now. Oh, I love the great outdoors as much as any little Pug mix female (which is what I am), but I want to enjoy those times with my special someone and then share the comforts of home. I’m good on a leash and at 23+ pounds I’d do well to lose a few, so regular exercise along with a healthy diet are right up my alley. I’m a 4-year-old with lots of love to give for a long time ahead; please let me give it to you.
