Hi… my name is Meow Meow,

Adopted 6-26-17

Comes with FREE Vet Care for Life

In my “other life,” I was really fastidious about having my litterbox spic and span all the time, and although I got along with the cat in my home, I had “issues” with sharing my litterbox, so I think having my very own would be ideal (plus, I’m FeLV positive, so should be an only cat anyway!). My mom said that I’m super friendly and playful, love tummy rubs, sleep with my person, and will come running if you say “treats” and shake the bag. I adored my kitty tree and to be up high (the better to watch the world!), so if you’re a “one-cat” person, come meet this 2-year-old “looker” and see if we can work something out.(I come with free vet care for life, too!)

Hi… my name is Giblet,

Adopted 6-20-17

Giblet has earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate.

People say I’m very smart, which is why I understand that at 99 pounds, I’m not everyone’s idea of a lap dog. (Unless you say it’s okay, in which case I’m great with it!) I am designed to be a super companion. With my former family, I was gentle and tolerant with the kids (ages 4 and 18), got along with the dog and cat, and was “sweet with everyone.” Unfortunately, they don’t have time for me now, and alone in the back yard, I talked to (barked at) the neighbors. So, if you do have time for an energetic, playful guy like me—a 2-1/2-year-old who already knows commands like sit, stay, easy, down, and more—I’m ready and able to share big fun, adventures, and a lifetime of happy days with you!

Hi… my name is Buddy,

Adopted with Miss Priscilla, Prince and Missy 11-26-17

Won’t someone out there let me live up to my name again? I really was a good buddy with my humans, but oh, those dogs – definitely not my bowl of cream! Turns out cats are not my fave either, so I’m yearning for a place where it’ll be just you and me, strolling down the avenue of life. And at just 18 months, we’re going to have lots of walks to take (indoors of course!) and time to get to know each other. My family said that I was “stationary” most of the day (like many cats!), but come dark, the real me emerges: calm, friendly, and cuddly! I know it won’t take long for you to realize that I’m just the furry friend you’ve been searching for!

Hi… my name is Oreo,

Adopted 5-8-17

I came here as a dedicated mama. On my own, I’d dug a den in the desert for my babies and gave birth there. I’d go to a house for food and then back to the den to take care of my little ones. The people feeding me couldn’t take in my whole little family, so we came here—my five pups and me. In that former home, they said I was very good with children and got along with other pets. Here at TALGV, my new friends say I’m sweet, friendly, and “just plain wonderful!” A small to medium size 4-year-old with a shaggy tan coat, I’ll bring lots of love and laughter into your home. So let’s get together today and take care of each other through lots of happy tomorrows.

Hi… my name is Dunphy,

Adopted 7-31-17

You can “bet the house” as they say in racetrack parlance that I belonged to someone and was well loved once (I hadn’t been neutered yet though, but that’s been taken care of)! When they did all that intake “stuff” after I arrived, the volunteers said that I just “melted right into them” and didn’t make a peep! It was so nice having attention that I didn’t even mind the prodding and poking! Since I’m a bit of a vagabond, they don’t really know my age, but they’re guessing about 18 months, so if you do the math, that means I’m still pretty much a youngster and am going to be around for a long time making you happy!

Hi… my name is Camellia,

Adopted 5-3-17

Comes with FREE Vet Care for Life

At 10 years of age, I’m glad to say I know what love is. Some time ago, when I’d been abandoned, neighborhood kids fed me for 3 weeks. Then I was adopted, but due to health concerns of their own, my people had to bring me here. Love flows both ways, of course, so I understand and wish them only the best. But I do need a new home, and since I’m an older dog, that requires someone special. I’m overweight and have some concerns older dogs often do, but I also have good news: I come with FREE Vet Care for Life! I’m leash trained (although I walk slowly), I love children, and if you have a place in your heart for me, I’d love to share my gentle, peaceful company with you.
