Hi… my name is Jack,

Adopted September 16, 2016

It’s hard to look your dapper-best when you’re lost, out on a dusty road, preoccupied with danger and hunger, but somehow I managed! When my rescuer found me, I was a polite little gentleman, ever so grateful for her assistance. Here at TALGV, I’ve made lots of friends thanks to being pleasant with volunteers and visitors alike. They tell me I’m a special fellow, handsome and young, and very charming in my own special way. I’m patient and attentive, have lots of virtues, and one day soon I’ll finally have something else, that special something that everyone wants: A forever home. I’m a little guy—just about 18 pounds, so I could fit easily into a cozy place. And if that place is your heart and home, you’ll have my love in return forever!

Hi… my name is Reebok.

Adopted October 5, 2016

A wonderful man adopted my brother, Adidas, and me a while back, but when he developed respiratory COPD, he realized that, much as he adored us, we just added to his breathing problems. We were originally part of the “Sneaker” litter of kittens, have been together all our lives, and loved playing together. A foster mom we had for a while said, “Reebok is the hunter, the talker, and the in-your-face guy. They’re loving with their people (but not other pets). They relish watching birds and lizards through a screen door, and love a handful of treats at bedtime. If you appreciate interaction with your cats, “the Sneakers” are for you!” Since Adidas has gone to a new home now, it’s too late to adopt both of us, but come to meet me soon so I can have a forever home with you.

Hi… my name is Adidas,

Adopted November 27, 2015

A very nice elderly lady adopted my brother, Reebok, and me a while back (we were originally part of the “Sneaker litter” at TALGV!), but when her health took a turn for the worse, she was unable to care for both of us at once. She decided to keep Reebok for the nonce (not sure how she made that decision-–kinda hurt the old ego!), so for now, it’s just me looking for love again. I’m a laid back 4-year-old boy who loves window watching (there’s just so much going on out there!) and I love attention (ok, on my terms–but it is pretty often!), so I know I’ll be just the antidote to your “I need some feline company” blues!

Hi… my name is Lupe,

Adopted September 7, 2016

When I was lost on a local frontage road, I didn’t know whether to run as fast as I could, try to find a hiding place, or what? Before I’d solved that conundrum, a stranger came to my rescue. She brought me here, where the first major improvement was my super soft bed, which makes me feel comfy and safe. Next, I started making friends, letting people know that even though I’m little—just over 6 pounds—I enjoy being with them in a BIG way! Walks are good, playtime is fun, and I love to cuddle and listen to the heartbeat of the friend who holds me near. Maybe that friend could be you! I’m a sweet, 3-1/2-year-old Chihuahua mix female, and I promise to fit perfectly into your heart and your life.

Hi… my name is Koda,

Adopted October 1, 2016

People tell me my looks could stop traffic—my striking blue eyes and beautiful black/white/tan coat—and that’s kind of what happened. My rescuer was driving down a Sahuarita street, saw me and stopped to help. Since I had no tags, he used social media to try to find my people, but when no one came for me, he brought me here. He said I was an energetic dog who got along with other dogs at his house, not so much with his cats, and had lots of fun chasing balls. I can jump, too, so need supervision and a high fence when off-leash outside. I’m a 2-year-old Husky mix male, a slender 43 pounds, and through my bright blue eyes I see you and me in our exciting, fun future together.

Hi… my name is Joey,

Adopted August 30, 2016

Joey comes with FREE Vet Care for Life

Some cats are the “only child” type and others really love having another feline to bond with. I was the latter, and when my BFF died a while ago I was dreadfully depressed. Then to top it off, mom moved into a smaller home, and that just added to my unhappiness. Unlike a lot of Maine Coons that can be the life of the party, I’m a pretty laid back declawed gentleman, and at 10 years of age (which qualifies me for Free Vet Care for Life), I really prefer the quiet life lying beside you, having my ears rubbed, and doing lots of bird spotting from a comfy window (that hobby isn’t limited to humans you know!). So let’s get together and start our very own life list!
