Hi… my name is Aura,

Adopted July 10, 2016

I came to TALGV with three other 6-month-old dogs, so I’ve had good company. We were not as lucky in the home department, though, because our original family couldn’t keep us. So we’re here now, where each of us can find a forever home. I’m a Lab/Terrier mix female, about 31 pounds, with a beautiful cream-colored coat. At 6 months, I still have things to learn but already know how to play with balls and toys, get along well with others, and was gentle and tolerant when given the chance to be with children. Home is a dream now, but I just know that one magical day, someone wonderful will look at me and say, “I want to meet that dog,” and then we’ll both fall in love.   Could my wonderful someone be you?

Hi… my name is Cali Ann.

Adopted September 16, 2016

If you like playful, happy times along with some gentle, quiet moments too, we’ll be great friends! In my first family, I was a comfort to a 17-year-old with autism; he would talk to me and I helped him calm down. Unfortunately, they very sadly had to give me up when a health issue arose in the family, and then my next person had to leave me due to a cross-country move! So I’m here, often playing with my doggy run-mate, and hoping every day for the someone who’ll give me my forever home. I’m a 2-1/2-year-old Shepherd mix female, about 47 pounds (think small Shepherd), who knows basic commands, has been friends with children, and endeared myself to my people. If you can be my happily-ever-after someone, I’m ready to be yours.

Hi… my name is Fella,

Adopted June 29, 2016

According to a “cat years calculator” (it’s a rather arcane process I won’t bother to explain!) my 11 years translates to about 61 in humans, so that really isn’t all that old in anyone’s book! My mom, however, was “getting up there” and although she loved me to pieces, when we played, her delicate skin sometimes got scratched so she though it best for me to find a new person to share life’s pleasures. She said that I was a very affectionate and dependent guy who loved to play with my toys and sleep with her. I do best with adults and would prefer being your one and only, so this handsome, declawed, gentleman would love to show you the many charms of orange tabbies! We’re really special you know!

Hi… my name is Tiki,

Adopted 1-22-17

When my mom went into the hospital, everyone hoped that it would be for a short time and that she’d be well enough to care for me again. Alas, no joy. Although the neighbors came to feed me for several weeks, mom finally had to admit that it’d be best if I found a new home, so here I am. I have to tell you that I was awfully lonely all by myself while she was gone (I cried every time someone came over), so I’m half-past ready to find a new person to love. I’m said to be a very sweet lady who craves attention (“dependent” is the word they used!), so if you’d like a feline that follows you everywhere, I can be your constant shadow!
