Hi… my name is Elon,

After living on the streets for about a year, a nice person finally brought me here where it’s safe. Good thing, since I was starting to show some wear and tear from being outside. Here at The Animal League I can count on safety and regular meals so it’s a big improvement. However, I’m still getting used to my new place. I’ve been keeping to myself in a small soft cubby on the floor while I learn what’s what. The volunteers can pet and brush me, and I do like that. What I’d really like is a quiet home where I can get my bearings and come out of my shell.

We’re all doing fine now that we’ve been brought to The Animal League by our kind rescuer. Are you looking for a new four-legged family member who’s already house-trained, won’t chew up your belongings, and doesn’t require endless amounts of training or exercise? Look no further, as I’m your girl! Ms. Manners is impressed with my impeccable house manners. For example, there is no need for me to be confined to a room or crate. I might approach the table when you’re eating, but if ignored, I’ll retreat to my bed. I loved exploring the outdoors in the safety of my foster home’s backyard. Humans? Yes, please! Nala

NALA is a playful and energetic 4-year-old, 94-pound black Rottweiler female who needs a new home. She and her housemate are not getting along now. She is leash trained, crate trained, and house trained (asks to go out and will use doggy door). Nala is in good health, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. She knows commands come, sit, down, and time to eat. She does not like cats but is good with children of all ages. Nala loves to walk and play with her toys. Nala would prefer to be your only dog and she would love to be your new best friend.
