I am a young Rottie/Heeler girl of medium size. When you first meet me, I act a bit shy, but give me a few minutes and you will see the gentle, loving side of me. Just look at my eyes! I have been around small children and they say I was good with them and also that I behaved well when I was left alone in the yard. I still need to learn a few things, like how to tell you when I need to go potty and how to walk better on a leash. Hey, y’all. Watching my roommates go to loving homes and being left behind is getting really old really fast! I had a bout of ringworm and had to be isolated until it cleared up, so I didn’t get a lot of wonderful hands-on people time then. Now that I’m good as new, I’m still living in just one room ‘cause I’m at that “betwixt and between” age where I’m too big to mingle with the little guys and too young for the adult cats. But I love visitors, so I’m imploring some wonderful person to give me a home where I can have a WHOLE HOUSE to myself and be the loving companion I’ve always meant to be!

Bentley is an active and social 2-year-old, 60-pound Shepherd mix male who needs a new home. He is crate trained, leash trained, and obedience trained (sit, down, shake). He is housebroken and asks to go out. He is in good health, neutered, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. Bentley gets along with other dogs and older children; cats are unknown. He loves balls and would be a great running partner. There is no adoption fee for this sweet boy. I suppose lots of people think all cats dream about chasing birds and butterflies in the great outdoors. Well, when you’re a new mom, have four very hungry babies to care for, and no one to care for you, it’s not all that much fun from this end, I’m telling you! Thankfully, a kind lady took pity on us, called TALGV, and we ended up here. I’m so thankful for the food and care that I’ve been getting, and although I’m still pretty shy and dealing with “battle fatigue,” with just a bit of encouragement, I warm up quickly. Wouldn’t you like to be the one who discovers what a total gem I really am?
