Hi… my name is Brad,
Adopted August 19, 2016
My sister and I were unexpected additions to our people’s home when they adopted our mom, and since they already had two cats and two dogs, they just couldn’t manage to keep us all. Because I’d already been living with other animals for a while, another big family adopted me thinking I’d fit right in, but their clan was so big and so noisy (it takes a pretty phlegmatic cat to really enjoy life with three rowdy dogs and five rambunctious kids!), that it didn’t work out. At just a year old, I still like to play with catnip mice, chase string, and explore the world, so as my mom said, “He’s a good boy, but really needs to be the ‘only child’ in a more peaceful home.” Yours maybe? Let’s talk!

My brother (you guessed it!) Brad, and I were unexpected additions to our people’s home when they adopted our mom. Since they already had two cats and two dogs, they couldn’t manage to keep us all, so since we were still youngsters, they knew we’d have the best chance for a new life without them. My dad said that although shy (mainly because of the hyper dogs I lived with!), I love to chase leashes and toys, like high places (like most cats — it’s an “escape route”!), scratching posts, and unlike most cats, enjoy being petted against the grain of my fur! It would be wonderful if Brad and I could be adopted together, so you can make us your very own superstars!

If you’ve even had the good fortune to have a passel of almost identically-marked tabby kittens clambering all over you vying for affection, you’ll know what a treat the volunteers and visitors had when my five siblings and I arrived and were added to an already tabby-laden room! Well, quite a few of them have already been adopted, but I’m still here and am half-past ready to move on to a home where I can bestow all my love on my very own people. Tabbies of all sorts are some of the most outgoing of felines, so you can be pretty sure that I intend to perpetuate that tradition throughout my life! Why not spend yours with me (or maybe another tabby too) ‘cuz you’ll be sure to double your (and our) fun!
