Tux

Hi… my name is Tux,

When our humans could no longer care for us, a bunch of us felines ended up here. Not that I’m complaining! It’s nice here but, of course, I’d like a home of my own. I’m used to living with other cats and a dog. I’m somewhat shy with people so I’ve been hanging out on a high wall perch, but you can pet my body. I’m not wild about contact on my head; I’ve had some dental work, you know. My owner said I like to be petted at night just before bed. My name describes me to a T: black and white, just like a tuxedo.

Hi… my name is Cindy,

Who pulled the rug out from under me? I had a home for six years, but my human had to move away and took me to The Animal League. Of course, I was not a happy camper. Would you be? It’s true that I’m independent and very shy, but I’m a good girl around the litter box. I’m looking for a quiet home where I can be content watching the birds and other activities from a sunny window. Previously, I lived with other cats and a dog, so if you have other pets that’s okay with me. My name is Cindy. Could I be your Cinderella?

Hi… my name is Joey,

Adopted 5-18-26

Yes, I’m named after the lovable goofball from the sitcom Friends, and honestly, the name fits me perfectly. I’m silly, energetic, and always ready to turn ordinary moments into a full-blown puppy party. Toys? Amazing. Zoomies? Essential. Random bursts of excitement over absolutely nothing? That’s my specialty. I love to play and make people laugh with my goofy antics and happy personality. Right now, I’m a small black-and-white bundle of fun, and someday I’ll likely grow into a handsome 50ish-pound best friend. That means more dog to love, more tail wags to enjoy, and more cuddle power packed into one adorable package. I’m looking for a home that’s ready for adventures, laughter, and a lifetime supply of charm. So… “How you doin’?” Because I think we might just be the perfect match!

Hi… my name is Gunther,

Adopted 5-28-26

I may have started as the runt of the litter, but nobody told me I was supposed to stay small in spirit. I was found abandoned in a box with my siblings, and now I’m making up for lost time by living life at full speed. I’m playful, curious, affectionate, and always ready for the next adventure. My foster home has been the ultimate training ground—I’m learning how to be a proper member of the household while hanging out with kids, dogs, cats, and even reptiles. Basically, I think everyone is a potential friend. I may be smaller right now, but I’m expected to grow into a 40-pound boy, give or take. Trust me, this bio can’t capture all my awesomeness—call TALGV and ask to set up an appointment to meet me!

Hi… my name is Brittney (aka Currant),

Hi there, future best friend. I’m your neighborhood brindle-and-white beauty with a smile so dazzling it should probably come with sunglasses. My favorite hobby? Scooting right next to you and soaking up all the pets you’re willing to give. Ear scratches, back rubs, shoulder leaning? I’m an expert in all three. I’m friendly, sweet, and fully committed to being your shadow and emotional support sidekick. Whether we’re binge-watching shows, taking walks, or simply hanging out together, I promise to make every day warmer and cozier. I’ve already mastered the art of loving humans — now I just need one to call my own. Adopt me, and I’ll gladly repay you with unlimited smiles, loyal companionship, and championship-level cuddle sessions. Could that lucky person possibly be you?

Hi… my name is Kennedy,

Adopted 4-25-26

I’m named after John F. Kennedy, and while I may be a girl, I carry the name with plenty of charm and charisma. I’m a brown and white puppy powered by pure joy, curiosity, and just a touch of mischief. My days are filled with zoomies, toy-chasing, and enthusiastically investigating everything like it’s breaking news. I’ve got energy for days and a playful spirit that turns ordinary moments into fun little adventures. But don’t worry—I also believe in winding down with cuddles once I’ve conquered the day. If you’re looking for a lively, loving companion who will keep you smiling, moving, and feeling adored, I’d love to be your running mate. I vow that together, we can make every day feel more exciting and full of love.

Hi… my name is Lincoln,

Adopted 4-22-26

I’m named after the legendary Abraham Lincoln, and while I don’t have a stovepipe hat, I do have a heart full of sweetness and a talent for winning people over. I’m a tan and white puppy with a playful spirit and a soft spot for cuddles. One minute I’m bouncing around like a tiny comedian, the next I’m melting into you like I’ve known you forever. I believe in equality—especially equal distribution of treats—and I fully support long naps and even longer belly rubs. Life with me will be full of laughter, loyalty, and little moments that make your day brighter.
