Hi… my name is Carter,

Adopted 4-21-26

I’m named after Jimmy Carter, but I promise my campaign platform is much simpler: snacks, zoomies, and unconditional love. I’m a brown and white bundle of puppy energy, always ready to turn your living room into a racetrack (don’t worry, I come with built-in entertainment). Playtime is my specialty, whether it’s chasing toys, your shoelaces, or absolutely nothing at all. I’ve got a curious spirit, a wiggly body, and a heart that’s already very committed—to you. I may be small now, but my personality? Presidential. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who will keep you laughing, moving, and feeling loved every single day, I’d be honored to earn your vote… and your couch.

Hi… my name is Xena,

Some dogs leap into life like it’s a parade. Me? I take the quiet side street. When my family lost their home, I landed at TALGV, unsure of everything. I’m a soft, fluffy girl with a shy heart, and I do best when life moves slowly. In my foster home, I’ve shown that I’m a peaceful, easy roommate. I love cozy beds, calm mornings, and being near my person. I’m house-trained, prefer staying indoors, and enjoy simple pleasures like mealtime games and gentle affection. What may help me is having another calm, friendly canine companion to give me confidence and help remind me to enjoy being a dog. If you have a low-key home and a kind dog to show me the way, I may be your perfect match.
If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Harlow,

Adopted 5-13-26

I’m a five-year-old white poodle mix with a soft coat and an even softer heart. I’m a bit of a “high ground” enthusiast, which is a fancy way of saying I love jumping up onto couches, chairs, or anything cozy so I can lounge like royalty. Don’t let my relaxed poses fool you though—I’ve got a playful side and I’m always up for some fun when you are. I’ll be honest: I’m not a fan of being alone. I’m more of a “where you go, I go” kind of guy, and I take my role as loyal companion very seriously. Whether we’re playing, relaxing, or just hanging out, I’m happiest by your side. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate buddy who will keep you company and keep you smiling, I’m your guy!

Hi… my name is Barnum,

Adopted with Bailey 4-4-26

Hey! I’m in the prime of my life but my human passed away. My bonded companion Bailey and I need a new home! We look similar, but I have the beautiful blue eyes to go along with a tabby and white coat. I’m the friendlier one and have been following the volunteers around, rubbing their legs and looking for love. I’ll roll on my back to play and I like laps. I can get along with dogs. As you can guess from our names, Bailey and I can be quite entertaining. Maybe you need a little more excitement in your home? Come meet us and we’ll charm you.

Hi… my name is Bailey,

Adopted with Barnum 4-4-26

Hey! I’m in the prime of my life but my human passed away. My bonded companion Barnum and I need a new home! We look similar, but I have a darker coat. Barnum will say that he’s the friendlier one but I like people just fine. I discovered a nice cubby in a cat tree here and I will talk to visitors before jumping down to investigate and play. Our human did say I was the curious one. As you can guess from our names, Barnum and I can be quite entertaining. Maybe you need a little more excitement in your home? Come meet us and we’ll charm you.

Hi… my name is Fili,

Adopted with Kili 4-2-26

When my owner decided to move, my feline roommates and I were brought here to The Animal League. We are all sweet cats and have adjusted to our new surroundings fairly quickly. Usually I’m sleeping on one of the cat tree perches, but I will perk up when you arrive and roll over to show you we’re friends. I like to play and I like scratches behind my ears. My coat is a mix of black and white and it’s really soft. I hope you’ll come by soon to meet me and decide I can be part of your family.

Hi… my name is Diana,

Adopted 4-15-26

How or why I ended up as a stray with one of my puppies is a mystery—and I’d rather not dwell on the past. My days as a young mom are behind me, and I’m ready to be treated like the true princess I am. I’ve been thriving in my foster home, where I proudly show off my refined manners: I’m house-trained, polite, and easy to have around. I walk beautifully on leash without reacting to other dogs, and I’ve been very respectful of the resident cat—no drama-queen antics here. I do enjoy a little adventure and will need a secure yard with supervision (I can scale a 4’ wall!), but what I really want is a loving home to call my own. Maybe your castle is my happily ever after… don’t keep me waiting!
