I was already living with our mom when he wandered onto the property and we welcomed him with open arms (and paws). Blackie and I […]

Patty

Hi… my name is Patty (aka Dot), Adopted 2-23-18 Patty comes with FREE Vet Care for Life My door sign could read “Visitors Welcome” because I’m a friendly dog who loves the attention of people. As a grown-up, an 8-1/2-year-old, I can be gentle and calm, walk by your side, nicely leash trained. But also, […]

Magic

Hi… my name is Magic, Adopted 10-11-17 A stroke of luck—perhaps a magic moment—made me a TALGV dog. A volunteer was walking between the buildings when, out of the corner of her eye, she spied me running loose in a neighbor’s parking lot. She called and I happily ran to her. I’d probably been out […]

Lola

Hi… my name is Lola, Adopted 11-9-17 Here’s my secret: To know me is to love me. Oh, I’m a quietly independent female, but I’m also a genuine sweetie pie. People are often surprised by how quickly we become friends, which happens because I like people and it shows. Give me a little affection and […]

Darcy

Hi… my name is Darcy, Adopted 8-6-17 I’ve experienced some big changes in my young life. My owner died, his family couldn’t keep me, a kind friend fostered me for a few weeks, and now I’m here. But I’m still a typical puppy—fun-loving, cute, and energetic. Plus I have special qualities that make me who […]

Biggs

Hi… my name is Biggs, Adopted 4-14-18 The volunteers gave me a close going over when I arrived here, noticing an injured toenail, missing skin from a paw pad (I walked some hot paths when I was lost), and they called me skinny—which meant more kibble in my dish. Even better, they called me gentle […]

Moose

Hi… my name is Moose, Adopted 2-17-19 Can a big guy like me be called a sweetie? YES! … if the name fits—and for me, it does! I’m a 2-year-old, 83-pound Staffie mix male; my coat is blue gray and white, and my heart is gold. You’ll know that when we meet, but in the […]

Stormy

Hi… my name is Stormy, Adopted 7-22-17 If I could, I’d tell you a fascinating story about how I came to be lost, but I don’t know how it happened and it’s probably not a happy story anyway. Instead, I’ll say thank you to the man who rescued me from the street, and then put […]
