Hi… my name is Mustafa,

Adopted 1-11-18

When TALGV’s Outreach volunteers were rounding up a litter of stray kittens at Wal-Mart, I got caught in “the raid” too! But that’s a good thing really, ‘cause although the free roaming life might be fun for a while, it’s got a lot of drawbacks, so I’m pretty happy I got nabbed. You can tell I’ve been on the lam for a while, as my coat needs some work, but I know good food, gentle grooming, and lots of love are going to turn me into one handsome devil! They’re thinking I’m about 2 years old, and although I look a little rough around the edges at the moment, my relative youth will come shining through in no time. Why not be around for the metamorphosis?

Hi… my name is Clyde,

Adopted with Bonnie 2-27-18

There may be a fascinating tale about how Bonnie and I ended up on the side of the road (Duval Mine Road), but our headline news is that we were rescued! I’m a 1-year-old Husky/Heeler mix male, black and white, with 1 blue eye and one brown, and you’ll quickly notice that I’m a three-legged dog. How that came to be we don’t know; maybe that’s how I was born. In any event, I get along fine in my own way, and I’m a happy, friendly guy, who’s grateful for Bonnie. She cared for me when I had no one else in the world, and we’d love to stay together. We know it will take someone special to adopt us both, but it could happen. Indeed, someone that wonderful could be as close as you!

Hi… my name is Bonnie,

Adopted with Clyde 2-27-18

There may be a fascinating tale about how Clyde and I ended up on the side of the road (Duval Mine Road, to be specific), but our headline news is that we were rescued! I’m an 18-month-old Husky female, tricolored (silver, tan and white) with gorgeous blue eyes, and although just 60 pounds, I’m a strong dog. To quote my intake exam, I’m “very strong but sweet natured.” I like to think that’s my charming balance—strong and sweet. Volunteers say I’m friendly and loveable, too, and Clyde agrees. We’re great together and he relies on me (perhaps especially because he’s a three-legged dog), so we’d love to stay together. We know it will take someone special to adopt us both, but it could happen. Indeed, someone that wonderful could be as close as you!

Hi… my name is Moonie,

Adopted 1-19-18

Drat! I only got to live with the family that adopted me for two months before an allergy reared its ugly head! Why is it that that doesn’t happen with dogs very often? Well, I’m back, and as you might guess since I’m only 7 months old now, my people said I’m super playful, sweet and gentle, and a “very beautiful” cat. I got along swimmingly with the kids and dogs in the house, so I’m proud to say that I’m a well-rounded guy who’s sure be at the top your list of “best pets I’ve ever had!” Come meet me and find out!

Hi… my name is Sugar Bear,

Adopted 5-6-18

Comes with FREE Vet Care for Life!

Well, I’m paying the price for being a “people person” rather than a “cat person,” ‘cause after my mom died, her daughter planned to take me in, but I just don’t “do” other felines at all, so here I am, looking for another human to love. I’m said to be a friendly and loving lady (although I sometimes am a little overzealous with my playing), but I’m great company and at 12 ½ years of age, have free vet care, too. My coat is a classic example of a Torbie with its orange and tabby patches, so if you’ve got a lap that needs filling and a heart to go with it, I think you and I could make beautiful music together!

Hi… my name is Kimberly,

Adopted 1-1-19

Don’t let anyone tell you that long black hair and gorgeous golden eyes aren’t a knockout combination! After my mom’s allergies got really severe, it was time for me to move on. She said that I love to play with balls of foil, to drink from the water faucet, and sit by the window watching the world go by. She said I’m very smart, can open doors, love to be petted, and even be carried like a baby (for a while!). I’m a real jumper and will follow a laser beam (or invisible spiders!) up the wall. I’m a real sweetheart who’ll be the perfect match for you if you just give me a chance!

Hi… my name is Bryce,

Adopted 1-15-18

“Found him wandering around the houses, talked to neighbors who said he’s always looking for shelter and food.” That’s not much to go on, but it’s all I’ve got history-wise, so it’d be a lot easier for you to meet me and see what a find I’m going to be! I wasn’t neutered when I arrived (you can bet I am now!), so who knows how long I’ve been without a home and begging food from the good people in Sahuarita? Suffice it to say, I’m happy to put those worries behind me, and am looking forward to a real place of my own where my people will cherish me for the delightful guy I am. I’m betting this 1-year-old would brighten up your world by megawatts!

Hi… my name is Mousie,

Adopted 2-26-18

“Pure as the driven snow” (except for my grey “eyebrows” and tail spot), that’s what you’ll say when you see me! And oh-so-lovable to boot! You might think “Mousie” is kind of a “meh” name ‘cause it conjures up a plain, boring, fade-into-the-background kind of person, but I’m far from that! I’m a quiet lady, granted (I’m 12-years-old and have free vet care), but there’s so much more to my personality than that. I lived with dogs in my first home and did okay with them, so maybe if you have a cat-friendly canine, we’d become friends too. Life’s all about making the best of the hand you’re dealt, so I’d love to try to start a whole new game with you! What say we give it a shot?
