Hi… my name is Wilbur,

Adopted 7-12-17

Mail carriers pick up packages all the time, but it’s pretty unusual when those “packages” are two cats! But that’s what the Good Samaritan postal employee did for my brother, Waldo, and me. After our dad’s home was destroyed in a storm, she agreed to take us in for him “for a while” but then he disappeared. Since she already had three cats, two more were a bit much, so we’re putting our best paws forward in hopes there’s a new place for us around the corner. I’m a loving 4½- year-old who craves attention, adores being brushed (the volunteers can attest to that!), and am super playful. I don’t “do” dogs though, so if it’s just you and me (and maybe Waldo too?), that’d be the stuff dreams are made of!

Hi… my name is Windy,

Adopted 7-6-17

My young life has improved by leaps and bounds since I came here. That’s been great because my beginning was bumpy. My sister, Sunny, and I were found as babies but already very dirty and matted. We were shy at first; I even wanted to hide. But after a little time, I discovered this is a safe and comfy place, and now I’m ready for the happy, carefree life of a puppy. You know—napping, eating, playing, followed by more napping, eating, playing. Learning puppy lessons is important, too, and confidence really helps—the kind you get when someone loves you just for being you. I’m a chocolate brown male, probably a St. Bernard mix, 14-1/2 pounds at 7 weeks, and I’ll love you just for who you are when you love me, too.

My young life has improved by leaps and bounds since I came here. That’s been great because my beginning was bumpy. My brother, Windy, and I were found as babies but already very dirty and matted. And in my case, my left eye was not developed. Fortunately, the doctor has tended to that and since I’d never had that eye, I don’t miss it. And now I’m ready for the happy, carefree life of a puppy—napping, eating, playing, followed by more napping, eating, playing. Learning puppy lessons is important, too, and confidence really helps—the kind you get when someone loves you just for being you. I’m a female, probably a St. Bernard mix, 13 pounds at 7 weeks, and I’ll love you just for who you are when you love me, too.

Comes with Free Vet Care for Life

Sometimes everything happens at once, doesn’t it? After my mom died unexpectedly and dad was too disabled to care for me (and my housemate, Ashlee), we were whisked away from the home we’d know all our lives and brought here. For a 13-year-old declawed gentleman (who now has free vet care), that’s a lot to happen in a short time! I’m trying to make the best of it though, because the volunteers are super friendly and attentive and have been letting us know that things will surely look up from here. As is characteristic of a Snowshoe Siamese, I love the human touch (just a bit of it elicits major purrs!), so I’m pretty confident there’s a new life for me right around the corner!
