Hi… my name is Bella,

Adopted 2-5-18

If looks alone were all that mattered in life, I’d be a real winner! With my lovely calico coat and orange eyes, I’m a real showstopper! I lived quite happily with a family for about a year when they adopted another cat, and I have to be honest and say I wasn’t exactly enamored of him (and truth be told, I preferred the adults to the kids too!). Well, things just didn’t work out for me, so I’m back hoping for a quiet home where I can be your only love. I like chasing a laser light (you just can’t catch those things, can you!), and sleeping near you (I particularly like to be under your bed), so why not let it be just you and me going through life together?

Hi… my name is Remy,

Adopted 1-26-17

As a stray dog, I found the San Xavier area, where I begged for food from a fry bread stand and slept in the mission church. Then, one day a mobile vet clinic arrived and I saw my chance! I presented myself to that clinic, they took me in and eventually brought me here. At that point I was thin for a 1-year-old Border Collie mix male (45 pounds), but the regular food here is great. Best of all? Being with people every day. Back when I was a stray, I wasn’t hungry just for food, I craved companionship, too. It’s in my sweet, gentle, affectionate nature to be somebody’s friend, and you’ll see that when we meet. How about we make that happen soon because I’m ready to become your faithful companion today!

Hi… my name is Mutley,

Adopted with Slinky 8-19-17

I come with FREE Vet Care for Life.

You know how when people get older they say they’re “getting long in the tooth?” Well, when the lady who brought me to TALGV after my mom died was asked whether I had any unusual markings she said, “One long tooth!” And I guess you’d have to say that at 14 years, I might be getting long in the tooth too, but that entitles me to Free Vet Care for Life, so that’s a big plus! Anyway, I’ve been really depressed since mom died as it was just the two of us my whole life, so I’m really needing some extra TLC. I’m the sweetest, most loving guy who just needs another older, quiet woman (they say I’m frightened of men) to give me a new start in life

Hi… my name is Cyera,

Adopted 1-30-17

There once was a group of dogs who lived a hard knock life. I know because I was one of them. We had each other, but were never allowed in the house—no matter the weather. And even as puppies, we worked hard just to stay safe. Then, one magical day, our lives changed. Friendly, gentle people came to visit, brought us yummy treats, and helped us move. Today I live indoors, eat well, and sleep on a comfy bed. There’s a change in my heart, too, because now I dare to dream of my very own home—a place where people will want me to play, have fun, and share their happy life. I’m a very loving 15-month-old rust Heeler female, and you’ll become my hero forever the day you make me yours!

Hi… my name is Grace,

There once was a group of dogs who lived a hard knock life. I know because I was one of them. We had each other, but were never allowed in the house—no matter the weather. Every day, we worked hard just to stay safe. Then, one magical day, our lives changed. Friendly, gentle people came to visit, brought us yummy treats, and helped us move. Today I live indoors, eat well, and sleep on a comfy bed, and I’m grateful for all that. But I also dare to dream of that most wonderful place—my very own home with someone to love, someone who invites me to share their happy life. I’m an exceptionally sweet 4-year-old red and white Heeler female, and you’ll become my hero forever the day you make me yours!

Hi… my name is Zoey,

Adopted 12-24-16

When people say I’m cute, they’re often talking about my curly tail, big bright eyes, and well-proportioned 31 pounds. Do those compliments make me happy? Yes, they do! But I’m hoping you’ll say my personality is my best feature. We’ll need to get to know each other; I can be a little shy at first, but my former person (who’s moving to one of those no-dogs-allowed places) described me as “a very sweet girl.” She said I am “great with kids” (familiar with a 19-month and 5-year-old), train quickly (good on a leash), friendly with dogs (I’ve been living with two), and also friendly with cats! I’m a 6-year-old Pug/Beagle mix, a cutie inside and out. Won’t you come meet me today? I love to make new friends, and sometimes good friends become family!

Hi… my name is Maggie,

Adopted 12-22-16

Yes, I’m a 33-pound Corgi/Lab mix female—an unusual breed combination, but I’m happy with it! Indeed, I’m happy with most aspects of life—even now, when I need a new home because my person is moving to a place where she can’t have dogs. After all, I’ve had the pleasure of living with other dogs and we play great together. And those critters called cats—yeah, I’m great with them, too. Plus, I have a history of being good with children—it’s important to be gentle with them; I saw that in the kids I lived with (19 months and 5 years old). My favorite thing? Well, I love cuddling on the couch. Come visit and we’ll talk more. I say you can’t have too many friends, and sometimes good friends become family!

Hi… my name is Billy,

Adopted 12-21-16

There’s a saying that goes “life is for living,” and I wholeheartedly agree! I’m a happy, friendly, 1-year-old Chihuahua mix male, who’s looking for a home only because my person is moving to a place where she can’t have dogs. I’ve recently lived with two female dogs, so I’ve had lots of company and I like it that way! My former person said I’m great with children—hey, they’re little and I’m little… we’re good! Squeak toys are fun, too, and although I’m not officially leash trained, I’ve been doing a good job of walking on a leash here—as long as you don’t mind me stopping on occasion because I get lost in a sniff. Please come visit today! I say you can’t have too many friends, and sometimes good friends become family!

Hi… my name is Chickasaw (aka Timmy),

Adopted 3-18-17

“My husband and I loved ‘the boys’ and took very good care of them. Then cancer took my husband and I now have to work five to six days a week, morning ‘til dark, and they are almost always alone.” I think my brother, Cheyenne, and I miss dad as much as mom does, and with her gone all day, we were pretty lonely guys, so it’s probably good that we got to come back to TALGV to find new homes. I love to be held and petted (mom said I drool beause I’m so happy!), and spend time with you. Why not make 2017 the year you add a little something special to your life?
