Hi… my name is Missy,

Adopted July 9, 2016

Thanks for looking at my pictures. My biography is under construction. Please stop back again to read about me or… even better… stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Kennels are open 10-2 every day.

Arrived July 5, 2016

PS I just got back from the groomer where they shaved off all of my matted coat. As you can see from my photos, I am not at my best right now. But just wait a bit and you will see a big improvement.

Hi… my name is Karanda,

Adopted 11-9-16

Karanda comes with FREE Vet Care for Life

Okay, if you want to be factual-like, I have to be up front and tell you that I much prefer adults to children and I am very persnickety about litterbox cleanliness! That being said, I’m a lovely tuxedo lady with gold-leaf eyes (and come with Free Vet Care for Life), who can be independent one minute and purr my way into your lap the next (you know, like a cat!). My dad said that I’m a really “fast runner” and sleep a good bit (again, I’m a cat!) — so I guess I sometimes go from zero to 60 in under ten seconds! My dad couldn’t afford to keep me any longer, so I’m looking for a quiet home where I can live out my nine lives in peaceful bliss. I’ll bet your place would be just the ticket!

Hi… my name is Ottis,

Adopted July 12, 2016

My friend, Ringo, and I lived in the same home for years, but when our human mom realized she couldn’t take care of us anymore due to her own health concerns, she showed us her love once more by letting us go to find new homes. I’m a 7-year-old male Dachshund, extraordinarily good-looking thanks to my smooth silver dapple coat. Past treatment has left me very leery of men, but I love being with women and children, and I’ve been reported to be good with cats and other small dogs. To make you smile, I’ll sit up on my rear legs and be as cute as I can be, and here’s hoping that’s enough to make you want to come visit me today. If so, we just might find we’ll be great together forever!   (revised bio needed)

Hi… my name is Cutie Pie,

Adopted July 28, 2016

It’s always sad when pets lose their humans, but it’s even more so when they’ve lived pampered lives in super loving homes (you really get used to that kind of treatment, and return it tenfold!). Our dad adopted my housemate, Lovey, and me from TALGV when we were youngsters, so he’s the only real family we’ve ever known. Despite what you might have heard about “tortitude” (a sometimes aloof demeanor some tortoiseshells are known for), we are both very “into” people – especially petting, purring, and snuggling – and want to be the kind of companions you dream of. I’m 9 years old, and pretty settled in my ways so am looking forward to sharing many warm and tender times with another human of my own (and maybe even with my BFF too?).

Hi… my name is Fortune,

Adopted November 16, 2016

One hot day I was rescued from the desert by a man who saw me walking alone, clearly lost. He said I was friendly and willing to get into his truck—you bet I was! Imagine my relief to be in the company of that good man, who took care of me for two weeks while trying to find where I belonged. He said I got along with his Rottweiller, enjoyed walks, and alerted to strangers. Eventually, he brought me here, where I’ve continued to gain weight (I was too thin when found) and made lots more friends because, volunteers say, I’m a fun guy with personality-plus! I’m 2 years old, a Shepherd mix male, now about 50 pounds, who just wants to be part of a happy home. Could it be with you?
