Hi… my name is Hooch,

Adopted April 23, 2016

When I somehow ended up dodging cars in traffic, things looked dire for me. But, just in the nick of time, a kind human came to my rescue and brought me to TALGV. Even in this safe place, I was shy at first, but I’ve learned that the people here want only the best for me. They think I have the makings of a great companion because once over my shyness, I’m alert, smart, and playful. I’m a 1-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, a handsome guy in my eye-catching merle pattern coat and athletic build, weighing in at about 44 pounds. If you could go for an active, affectionate and devoted buddy, we really should get together. With me by your side, I just know there are lots of happy trails ahead for us!

Hi… my name is Spike,

Adopted with Zero 1-9-18

Oh my, it’s happened again! Two years ago, my brother, Zero, and I could not move with our people because their new landlord did not allow dogs. Now, our person who adopted us back then is moving out of state and cannot take us with her. Zero and I just look at each other and say, “I’m so glad there’s you!” We’re Wirehaired Terrier/Chihuahua mixes, and we’re two little love bugs; we love each other and we also love our people. Cuddling on your lap is my favorite pastime. We’ve lived with a single person, and with a family with children, so we’ll fit in almost any home. We hope to stay together as we love romping with each other, so please double your fun and double your love by taking us home today!

My brother Spike and I are going to make our new owner very happy for a long time! Two years ago, we couldn’t move with our people because their new landlord didn’t allow dogs. Our person who adopted us back then is now moving out of state and cannot take us with her. Thankfully, Spike and I have always had each other. We’re Wirehaired Terrier/Chihuahua mixes, two little love bugs who love each other and our people. Indeed, cuddling with my person is my favorite pastime! We’ve lived with a single person, and with a family with children, so we’ll fit in almost any home. We hope to stay together as we have a great time romping with each other, so please double your fun and double your love by taking us home today!

Hi… my name is Nemo,

Adopted 8-28-16

Our people had good things to say about my Chow friend Honey and me, but they had to keep us tied up and knew that wasn’t good for us. (They’re raising farm animals and had to keep us away from the chickens and turkeys.) We were both “found” dogs, so we’re grateful for the years with them and appreciate their good reports, like when they said that I’m loving to people, gentle and tolerant with children. I’m leash trained, and love to play, run, and fetch. Please come see me and give me a chance to show you what a fun-loving guy I can be. I’m a 5-year-old black and tan Rottie mix male, a real handsome guy with a happy zest for life. If you take me home, you’ll be my hero forever!

Our people had good things to say about my Rottie friend Nemo and me, but they had to keep us tied up and knew that wasn’t good for us. (They’re raising farm animals and had to keep us away from the chickens and turkeys.) We were both “found” dogs, so we’re grateful for the years they took care of us and appreciate their good reports, like when they said I’m loving to people, gentle and tolerant with children. I’m leash trained, so walks are excellent exercise, and I love kids. Honestly, I’m happy to have fun with any good person who’ll play with me! I’m a 9-year-old red Chow mix, a beautiful female who knows what wonderful friends people can be. Visit me today, and let’s see if we can be happy together forever!

Hi… my name is Tuscan,

Adopted June 25, 2016

Looks like when my genes were doing their happy dance before I was born, they just couldn’t decide on one color for me — grey, beige or white — so heck, they threw them all into the mix! And what a wonderful result it was! I’ve spent a lot of my time wandering the wilds of southern Arizona (no one knows how much since I was found as a stray), but through it all, I’ve learned that humans are really pretty nice, especially when they offer food and water and scratch your ears and chin. So with that knowledge under my belt, I’m perfecting my social skills so that I can find a never-have-to-leave home where that happens all the time! How about we embark on a journey of new beginnings together?

Hi… my name is Smoky,

Adopted April 2, 2016

You usually think of dogs when someone uses the term “protective,” but that’s what my senior mom said about me, so you know I’m one special feline! (She had to have a therapist come in every day, and when he was treating her I didn’t realize that he was doing good for her, not the opposite!) Anyway, I lived with her all my life until she was no longer able to care for me, and she said that although I don’t like other cats (there was one that hung around outside that really set me off!), I loved the children who visited, and was a great companion. As with my breed, I have characteristically handsome smoky grey fur, am declawed, and now I’m ready to be your very own guardian!

Hi… my name is Molly,

Adopted February 22, 2016

Our human mom had to leave me behind, along with my friend, Nena, when she moved to a “no pets allowed” place. That was disappointing, but I’m the optimistic type! Today, I’m eager to find a new home where I’ll be cherished and adored forever—the way I’ll feel about you if you make me yours! I’m a 3-year-old white Poodle female, 13 pounds, and if you like to play, I’m your girl. I have fun with almost any toy, and especially love the attention you give me when we’re playing or just being together. My former person said I didn’t get along with cats, but have good house manners and I’m learning to walk on a leash. If you have love to share, I’m so ready to be your happy Poodle for life!

Hi… my name is Princess,

Adopted March 25, 2016

I lived with my former family since I was a puppy and loved playing with the kids (ages 4, 6, 9 and 10), but after major changes in the family’s life, (which didn’t relate to me), I need to find a new home. I’m a 4-year-old black and tan Rottweiler female, about 77 pounds, and since my breed is known for being strong and powerful, you might be surprised by my sweet and affectionate personality. I’ve been known to offer kisses to those bringing me food and water. Until now, I always lived outside and was not leashed trained, so a comfy home with some helpful training will be a wonderful, positive change for me. I have lots of love and a lifetime of loyalty to give; please let me give it to you.
