When our humans could no longer care for us, a bunch of us felines ended up here. Not that I’m complaining! It’s nice here but, of course, I’d like a home of my own. I’m used to living with other cats and a dog. I’m somewhat shy with people so I’ve been hanging out on a high wall perch, but you can pet my body. I’m not wild about contact on my head; I’ve had some dental work, you know. My owner said I like to be petted at night just before bed. My name describes me to a T: black and white, just like a tuxedo.

When my human had to move, I also had to find a new home. Luckily I came to The Animal League! I’m very shy but my previous owners earned my trust and I slept by them. Here I’m pretty confused, but I let the volunteers pick me up, pet me and brush me. I’m OK with other cats and lived with a dog. I’m a cute orange tabby with just a few miles on me, and a desire to find a new home with a nice person. If you’re in the market for a sweet, middle-aged boy, I’m the one!

Gus began overgrooming himself until he began to look like bald lion! As for me, I’ve kept my beautiful long soft fur in place. I’ve got a huge plume-like tail, yellow eyes, and a small patch of white fur on my chest. I’m a friendly guy, in the prime of life, who likes pets and daily brushing.
