Hi… my name is Tita,

Adopted 12-31-17

Yes, I know, we’re all unique, but I’m going to make the grammarians out there crazy and suggest that it’s not much of a stretch so say that I’m “uniquer” than most! One look at my eye-poppingly marbled Snowshoe Siamese and torti coat, and I think you’ll have to agree. I even have blue eyes, although they’re kind of hard to see through my sable-colored mask. But that’s just the surface. The rest is all love, purrs, and a 6-year-old desire to be with my very own person. My mom developed dementia and couldn’t care for me any longer, so with no family to keep me, I’m here showing off my “stuff” so you’ll be sure to fall for every delightful part of me!

Hi… my name is Maya,

Adopted 1-2-18

My siblings and I (young pups) were found running wild near I-19 and, once here we just clung to each other. Soon, though–after receiving medical care and getting rid of our fleas–we started having fun playing, growing, and discovering delightful things like mealtime, toys, and comfy, cozy beds. Now, my siblings have been adopted, and I’m sure my forever home is out there, too. I’m an adorable 3-month-old Lab/Heeler mix female, a soft tan and white pup with a sweet face and, shall we say, remarkable ears–13 pounds at 10 weeks and still growing and learning. If you could care for a youngster like me, I’d love to meet you because we may find each other irresistible, and that could be the beginning of our happily-ever-after together.

MUKTI is an adorable, smart, and affectionate, 5-year-old, 10-pound terrier mix that was rescued about 3 years ago, but owner needs to find a new home for him. He has a chip, is neutered, and shots are up to date (medical records available). Owner believes Mukti should be an only-pet since he does not get along well with other dogs or kids; cats are unknown. He loves adults and has excellent manners. He is crate trained (short periods), housebroken, and asks to go out. Mukti is easy-going, loves walking on leash (up to 3 miles), and playing ball is his passion. If you would welcome this lovable lap dog into a loving home as part of your family, please call Sue between 8 AM and 8 PM at 1-303-330-4428. There is no adoption fee.

Hi… my name is Tutone,

Adopted 1-3-21

Here’s one recipe for getting rescued: Pick a house. Show up every morning and evening looking really lost and hungry. Get fed (all my rescuer had was dog food, but that was okay by me — I just gobbled it down!). Go looking for your lost owner during the day, then come back and sit there looking forlorn. Rescuer will give you a nice warm carrier to sleep in. Then never leave the porch, look wistfully inside, and convey the obvious desire to be a house cat! Well, most of it worked except I didn’t get to stay ‘cause of the dog, but I’ll bet someone else will fall for my moves in a minute! I’m a loving, handsome 7-year-old guy with plenty of stories to share and advice to give!

Comes with Free Vet Care for Life

Two years ago, when my person died, a friend of hers took me in. But then she couldn’t take care of me any longer either, and so I didn’t know what to expect. I’m not a puppy anymore. I’ve had to say good-bye twice. What if no one new wanted me? And then—presto! I came to TALGV and now my future is bright again. The volunteers say I’m exactly the kind of dog a lot of people could love—a little gray Poodle male, just 11 pounds but lively, too. I get happily excited at walk time and love human companionship. (You may see my smile.) And at age 11, I come with free vet care for life! I’m ready for a nice long happily ever after. How about I share it with you?
