Hi… my name is Dulce,

Adopted with Ginger 9-9-17

My sister Ginger and I had a fabulous home, but happiness there ended when our people divorced and moved away. Fortunately, we have each other—two sisters lovingly bonded to one another. We love to cuddle, (sometimes pretend to be lapdogs), splash in a wading pool (do not swim though), or just play and have fun. We’re good on walks, friendly to other dogs and people (I’m more outgoing than Ginger), know commands, are extremely alert and loyal to our person. (Btw, we like being brushed and even enjoy a shower!) My name means sweet in Spanish, and I hope you think it fits me. Ginger and I—who want to stay together—are 16-month-old Queensland Heeler/Shepherd mix females, I’m 38 pounds, she’s 43, and we’ll bring happiness with us when you make us yours.

Hi… my name is Chance,

Adopted with Dice 9-2-17

I guess someone had gambling on their mind when my littermates, Keno, Dice, Slots and I were named! We were just wee things when we arrived so went to live with a foster mom until we “made weight” and could come to TALGV to show off our wares (if you look real close, you’ll see a heart and a diamond on my right side, so I’m SURE to bring good luck!). Well, we’ve been languishing here for too long now because there’s just so much competition in the kitten department, but spend some time with any of us (hunker down and let us “do our purr thing” in your lap!), and you’ll wonder how we got overlooked! “Kitten” pretty much says it all, so why not take two ‘cause we’d be twice the fun!

Hi… my name is Sarge,

Adopted 10-2-17

I was a lost dog (found on La Canada), without a home or person of my own, but I still think it’s a wonderful world! I’m in a great place now and someday soon (I’m an optimistic guy), someone wonderful is going to take me home. The kind person who rescued me said I was “very, very friendly,” and when someone says “very” twice, you now they really mean it! However, I’ve not liked some of the other dogs I’ve met and definitely not cats; but around people I know and love, I’m playful, lively, and ready for fun. At 3 years old and 32 pounds, I’m a sturdy Blue Heeler mix male who thrives on activity, can be protective and cautious of strangers, a brave and loyal companion. Please let me be yours!

Hi… my name is Darcy,

Adopted 8-6-17

I’ve experienced some big changes in my young life. My owner died, his family couldn’t keep me, a kind friend fostered me for a few weeks, and now I’m here. But I’m still a typical puppy—fun-loving, cute, and energetic. Plus I have special qualities that make me who I am: I’m smart (catch on to most training quickly), love to play in water (like a wading pool) and cuddle with people (sometimes I think I’m littler than I am). When fostered, I got along with three small dogs and loved to play; my foster people called me “a very kind and patient dog.” An 8-month-old Staffie female, 36 pounds, a beauty in black and white, I love almost everyone I meet. Make me yours and I’ll love you most of all and always!
