Hi… my name is Pumpkin,

Adopted 3-4-17

The first thing you need to know about me is that if you’re a huge TV fan, you might need to turn up the volume a bit as my purr sometimes drowns everything out! The second thing is that I’m one of the most gentle, cuddly, and sweet guys you’ll ever meet! The third thing is that I sometimes try to scoot out the door when you’re not looking, so you need to keep an eye on me! Actually, I think it’s just that I’m still pretty much a playful and curious kitten at 2½ and just need an active family that will provide some entertainment for me. You could do us both a really big favor and make this “The Year Pumpkin Came into my Life!” It’ll be a milestone, I promise!

Hi… my name is Sonny,

Adopted 10-29-16

My adorable sister, Cher, and I were adopted three months ago, when we were 3-month-old puppies, but that didn’t work out. The people said we were too active, so I’ll be completely upfront in telling you I am an active 6-month-old puppy. I love playing with my sister and our toys, I’m curious about the world around me, and have the energy and eagerness to learn good-dog things to please you! Already, I know to sit when you say to (usually), and am getting good at walking on a leash. My best features? I’d say being fun-loving, sometimes just plain funny, and my cute puppy personality. But let’s meet and you decide! I’m a Shepherd mix male, 33 pounds, white, black and brown, and so ready to be the happy puppy in your life!

Hi… my name is Star,

Adopted 12-18-16

My person was very sad to let me go, but her own health issue couldn’t be ignored. We’d been together my whole life, so it’s been a major change for me. I’ve been scared and lonely, but now I understand that “home” will be a new place. I’m a 6-year-old Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix female, and I’m expecting a nice long future with my new someone, maybe even more love and fun than I could imagine! Once I get over my shyness, I’ll do my part, too. Fetch is my favorite game (although I need instruction on bringing the toy all the way back), and I know commands like sit and stay. Best of all, since I want love, I know how to give lots of it, too. Won’t you give me a visit today?

Hi… my name is Molly,

Adopted with Jezzy 12-28-16

How come people aren’t allergic to dogs as often as cats? My best friend in the whole world, Jezzy, and I lived with two dogs and young kids, but recently learned that the reason one of them was having such trouble breathing, was us! Our family was so sad to have to relinquish us, but we understand why, and we’re hopeful we can find a new home where we can share our love (preferably together!). Dad said I was super friendly and cuddly with people, loved the dogs, and preferred older kids to the ones that have those unexpected “little child actions” (but I wasn’t at all aggressive with them). Given my history, I’m ready made for an active home (and so is Jezzy!), so why not make that one yours?

Hi… my name is Buster,

Adopted with Andre 6-22-19

Everyone’s heard the term “alley cat,” well, I really was one! I lived in an alley behind a vet clinic (good choice, I thought!), and they fed me for three months, gave me all my shots, tested me for FIV/FeLV (negative, yay!), tipped my ear, and neutered me so attention wasn’t something I lacked! They said I was very affectionate, and although I was doing “okay” out there, I really deserved a “proper” home. They said I might be a bit shy at first (understandable, I think!), but I warm up quickly and really enjoy attention. I get along great with other cats – especially my friend Andre – so a combined adoption would make our dreams come true. I’d simply love to show you how an “alley cat” can become a “just-wanna-be-inside-where-it’s-safe” kind of guy!

Hi… my name is Patches,

Adopted 11-29-16

My person and I were together almost three years, since I was 2 months old, when I suddenly lost him. After his death, relatives brought me here, where volunteers have helped me understand the big change. Their company has meant so much to me, including the great back scratches they give. It helps that I’m a good listener; my many new friends can tell you that I always enjoy being talked to and petted. My person’s family also reported I know “sit” and “paw” (shake hands), will alert to strangers, guarded my food, and was gentle with a 16-year-old young person at home. I’m a handsome, leash-trained Staffie mix male, about 80 pounds, hoping my adorable face appeals to you because I’ll look at you with love every day if you make me yours.
